I did a hasty mockup of an idea I've had. Basically I'm thinking about putting together a futuristic-looking assault rifle and painting it up to look like something out of near-future sci-fi. This was a rough concept of one such possibility, what do you guys think?

ew
Guess I should go with it, since not a single piece of constructive advice has been given :v:

change up the stock, handguard, and grip to be more contour.

Timebomb suggested a G36 handguard which could work, as for the stock and grip do you have any suggestions?
Edit: Maybe a stock like this?
If you got a VLTOR or Magpul receiver (and covered up the gay ass magpul markings of course), got that stock and a G36/XM8 style front end you could make a fairly futuristic looking thing.
Maybe with a rail running the full length of the top and no front sight, so all the sights have to be rail mounted?

G36 handguard would work, and as for the grip, i would try to blend in an f2000 handguard to go under the main handguard.
As far as futuristic stocks go, i think the one you linked would work out.

Do you mean the boat-like F2000 stock handguard, or the P90-style looped one?

The boat looking one.
OK
Please be honest, how are the KWA MARK I-IV 1911s? I've heard they have a couple problems. Are they really that bad?

TM or WA. For the love of airsoft, do not buy that shit.
He doesn't want to spend a lot of money on something he's not gonna use much. What about the KJW KP08? (If all else fails, I'll just convince him to get a Hi Capa.)
Unless you get a TM or WA, a single-stack 1911 just isn't going to perform well.
Attempt #2, tried implementing the F2000 foregrip but it just looks off to me. If it comes down to it I can make a custom foregrip myself, but the real question is what shape to make it.

Stock too big
would not fire

It's collapsible, the picture I used had it fully extended. And it's really not that big, same length as a fully extended conventional M4 stock.
I'm retarded. I glanced at it and it looked like it was longer than the length of my arm. :v:

I need a new gun. Preferably around the vietnam era M16.
I really hate m4's, yet i love m16's and i know G&P has some VN era m16's.
How good does this sound? http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_219&products_id=35273
I'm gonna get rid of the stupid "zombie hunter" logo crap.

If you bought that I would give you all the internets (and experience it vicariously through you).

It has half the mag capacity of the RS. WTF
I'm trying to get into Airsoft but I'm having a serious problem finding any nearby sites.
Any britfags know of any sites in Kent? I need to find a fairly decent one so I can sort out my UKARA Membership.
