You should do one of those 2012 FSB loadouts, thats the one i was gonna do sometime in the future

if i do that, people will think im just some elitist multicam operator with an AK
do a 2008 fsb loadout
[QUOTE=the_killer24;35484540]do a 2008 fsb loadout[/QUOTE]

Do it with SURPAT instead.
doubt i can obtain surpat new/surplus
[editline]8th April 2012[/editline]
plus considering the price if i could find it

oh just to make it better, yesterday i decided to walk to skyburger and as im waiting at the crosswalk, some black couple in a orange dodge charger pulls up and salutes me and honks their horn and burns out when the light turns green

It's expensive yes, but fat geardos pay way more for their Crye Precision shit they're afraid to get dirty. At least you'll use it properly.
wow that fsb pic
the multicams blending really well but the black gear makes him really obvious
they should use tan or something
[editline]8th April 2012[/editline]
also 120 dollars isn't expensive at all for what you're getting and compared to the american equivalent which is a multicam TRU which in 50/50 nyco is like 30 more dollars
So a bit of a loadout update from me.
I swear to fucking god, i'm literally about to pick up a needle and sew those fucking patches myself because it's taken well over a month to get my mother or sister to even consider sewing those patches onto my ApSci blouse. Fuck man. All i need them to do is sew the fucking thing and i'll be done with the thing, aside from a respirator because i cannot find a black one at all. It's pretty irritating because i'm THIS close to being done with it.
Once i'm done with my ApSci loadout, i need to decide what i'm going to pursue next. I intend to save enough money to buy an MP7 to use in my HL2 Rebel loadout and my ApSci one, as it's futuristic enough to fit with both. I've also made a decision to what i'm going to use the two loadouts with.
The HL2 Rebel loadout will be used in field games: The colors are very subdued and dark, as well as being a very lightweight loadout and having the ability to carry anything i would need with me at any given time. The only issue i can see arising is that unless i get a TM MP7 with that god-like hop-up(if i can even find one of the damned things, they're sold out everywhere but Redwolf, but there it's $300, money i do not have unless i take out yet another loan from my parents, and considering i just payed back my F2000 loan in January, i'm not inclined to do that), an MP7 is not suited to field play at all, and i'm going to need to decide what to use for a field weapon. A thought had crossed my mind, as difficult as it may be. Make an AR2. We have discussed the possibility of this a lot, and i've been doing thinking of my own. I have an M14 and an M16 i'm never using, and that could be the base gun, at least, after i upgrade the barrels on those.
The ApSci loadout will only be useful in CQB games, due to it's extremely bright colors. I would use the MP7 with that for sure, for obvious reasons.
I have a friend with a tm mp7, and it was honestly pretty shit. got about 35 feet of range, and the rof was probably in the 300s.
If i ever make a rebel loadout i'm gonna make a combine vest and use an AK variant of some kind, Concept art style.
Prerelease HL2 is best HL2.
Just make your own alternate reality with it or something, that's what nearly all people with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. loadouts do.
It's not too far from the released HL2, i'm sure it'd be in it if they had the time and memory budget. I guess after the leak they had to redo a whole bunch of stuff and that probably took priority over things like making more rebel variants. They had a lot of them planned (or at least drawn up)
[img_thumb]http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100621163551/half-life/en/images/thumb/a/af/Rebel_skins.jpg/830px-Rebel_skins.jpg[/img_thumb]
They make a lot of sense too, since you'd imagine the combine soldier vests would provide more protection than the police ones.
I was going to use an AK of some kind since there was an AKM in the leaked HL2, and it makes sense to have an AK variant of some kind in a game set in eastern europe.
Then i'd also need to get an AK(which i would really have no other use for it unless i made a Rossia loadout which is so far out of my budget i can't even stress that any more). But what about the WELL MP7? I heard it was actually alright for the money, and was compatible with TM parts.
Or Galaxy MP5K since that was a beta weapon.
Why are you guys so adamant on making themed loadouts and matching guns to countries? I mean, I get why you would want that if you collect that gear or are fascinated with that country, or if you're really into milsim, but why not just use what works?
I always think that if you're gonna make a HL2 loadout, applying some common sense and thinking of what guns they'd be likely to have in eastern europe is better than just settling for an MP7 or an USP.
Then again, i probably put way too much thought into this kind of thing. If i had tools and money i'd be making so much HL2 related shit for airsoft.

I think having themed loadouts is fine, but you also need something to actually play in. I need to make a loadout i can just use for playing. My ALICE rig works awesomely for my M4/M14, but i wouldn't mind a plate carrier to go with my G36.

Because most of us are massive chairsofters who don't actually play and don't give a fuck about what actually works, just what looks cool. And if we do play, we're massive attention whores who feed off of people saying our gear is cool.
I might just go with a WELL MP7 if i can find one. Those are more rare than the TM MP7s.
@Kawaii Honestly, i'm not sure. It's not to say that i HAVE to have a themed loadout, i mean, when i went to Revelations i just tossed together some random gear and called it a night, but i've always liked the idea of making video game themed loadouts. I really never wanted to do many real life military themed loadouts, unless it was inspired by a video game, i.e. Delta Force: Black Hawk Down and my want to do a 80's infantry themed loadout. If i got a gun, i wouldn't make a loadout around it. I mean, look at my F2000, my M14, my MP5, etc. However, if i make a loadout on it's own, i'm probably gonna buy the gun that fits that the best, while still maintaining practicality and having what works the best as opposed to what looks the best. I try to mesh the two as much as possible. Example being: Let's say the WELL MP7 is actually a pretty good gun. I'd buy that for sure. If there is no MP7 on the market that actually doesn't suck, then i'd try for an MP5k for a HL2 beta feel. If that sucked, i'd try an AK probably.

Or that. That applies too.
I mean, it's nice to hear someone say "Dude, awesome loadout! I wish i could make that!", is it not?
Everyone likes to hear they did something right. I don't think it's fair to fault someone for that.
WELL MP7 isn't that great, but it can be improved on without much work.
Its on airsplat for $100.
You can get the external battery setup and a PEQ based lipo as well as a tightbore/hopup and it'll be excellent for CQB. My MP7 build was only like $250-$300 for everything, but I already have the mags.
Internals will break over time, but you can find every AEP part without much difficulty via google, there's some American shop that specializes in them.
An AEP will basically never cut it for outdoors, because even if you get in close, they shoot too light for most people to feel it through their outdoor gear.
im not a chair softer
and i prefer to dress to impress and actually match
and no im not wear a mich 2000 in kill's picture, i just cant find a helmet cover in extra large for a marine lightweight

1. cause it looks cooler then just random shit cobbled together and 2. cause if you have realistic guns, it makes sense to have gear that resembles something realistic
except kill
he looks cool with mixmatched camo ex: his russian kit with the k6-3
infact only russian kits look decent with mixmatched camo, anything else looks gay

My gear is mismatched as fuck, but this still applies to me.
For example, I wear:
Swedish M90 pants
WW2 German overprint/plane tree smock
Black body armor
LT-1961A chest rig or ALICE gear
Stahlhelm, CVC, M1, or F1 helmet depending on the day
How's the LBT-1961a? Mind posting pictures?
Sure. brb

Rig holds 8-13 stanags, potentially 4-8 AK or other magazine types.
2 utility pouches with another pouch underneath, secured by elastic.
3 utility pouches in front of the mag pouches, 1 double pistol mag pouch
very lightweight and maneuverable.
