what game?
Blacklight: Retribution [editline]15th April 2012[/editline] I get such a raging hard-on for visor-less helmets. Playing Blacklight is like a constant orgasm.
Blacklight: Retribution [editline]15th April 2012[/editline] I get such a raging hard-on for visor-less helmets. Playing Blacklight is like a constant orgasm.
Is it worth trying?
Is it worth trying?
It's heavy on the grind but still really fun. Imagine the good parts of CoD's multiplayer, without noscoping or dropshotting, and with a temporary vision mode that lets you see everyone on the map through walls that effectively neuters camping.

Also all the upgrade parts are pretty balanced and you can buy them all with ingame currency. The only things that you NEED to buy with the bought currency are cosmetic, like medals and camo and the like.
Alright, as soon as OA is done installing (probably sometime tommorow night), I'll register and download.
This new fancy holster is totally awesome. Perfect fit on my Hi-Capa, preferred color of orange, and its compatible with BlackHawk Strike mounts. Right now, its got a belt mount, and can fit anything from a dress belt to a rigger's belt with its adjustment system, and at some point I'll be getting the Molle setup. If anyone wants their own, I can post their facebook page.
I'd love a holster for my Hi-Capa.

Just keep in mind that since they're custom, you have to mail them your pistol, meaning you're paying for two way postage. They also are willing to take on all kinds of custom work.
I think I'm going to start running lipos and deans. Anyone have any input?
snip retard
I'm tired of looking through ebay for gear and always seeing a majority of action figure 1/6th size stuff.
use the filters on the left then!

Anyone have any input?
http://eliteairsoftbatteries.com/category/65-mini-packs.aspx These guys have fantastic deals, and I placed my order with them on Friday, plus you can get deans installed right off the bat. With Lipo's you store them charged, and if the voltage/rof drops at all, you stop firing immediately. If you drain a lipo too far it can't be safely recharged. They still last a really long time though, so don't be too worried, and when the rof drops, it drops very quickly so as to be impossible to miss. I'm not good with soldering though, so I can't help you out on converting your gun to deans, but it shouldn't be too bad since you're working in the gun side of the connection and you don't need to worry about heat damaging battery cells.
use the filters on the left then!
By god, thank you sir

hey code be careful when installing deans because i heard you can set your gun on fire kinda by installing deans incorrectly
I think I'm going to start running lipos and deans. Anyone have any input?
I concur with what notrabies said. But also, I'd recommend getting the Imax B6 charger. Also, turnigy brand lipos are, in my experience, better quality than elite while still costing nearly the same.
thats vsr lol
odd, the shade of colors made it seem like a faded ttsko at a glance It looks to be in better condition than my 6b5 too
keepin a eye on that shit, do want

I plan to buy a charger and get like 5 or 6 of them. They're $17 each off Ebay. [editline]16th April 2012[/editline] I run a 9.6v 1600mAH through all my guns. Type 89, Tavor, M4 and AK. What's the lipo equivalent? Any chance I can damage my gun using a lipo? I aside from my BE/JG Type 89 I -think- I'm safe using a lipo through my VFC, ARES and CYMA. [editline]16th April 2012[/editline] I have two batteries that are NiMh so I'll switch them to deans too just to be safe so I have a backup. I'm just tired of having to pop off three or four fast shots in semi having the gun conk out. I'm also sick of trying to stuff and daisy chain batteries into tiny stocks and handguards.
It's around 10 degree celsius outside, no rain, Estimated to get colder and possibly rainy in next hours. Should I go paint my WEPON, or wait for the sun for another 3 days?

Almost everyone I know uses 11v lipos, but you'll need to change the wiring/use a mosfet if you don't want your gun fucking up. There was a specific brand that didn't need any changes to use a 11 lipo (it came with reinforced wiring from stock) but I can't remember the name. Otherwise, use a mosfet: using an 11 is what burned off the wiring on my ICS M16. I only speak from experience, both personal and shared with basically everyone I play with. I know jackshit about electricity or gun internals, though. But that's my two cents.

I was about to recommend Codemonkey to get one as well, as I use an 11.1v lipo in my VFC M4 and it's great, but I stick to mostly semi and your suggestion I might blow something up sooner or later is unsettling me. So far I've put maybe 1000-2000 rounds through it since I got my lipo and I haven't noticed trouble.
My KWA G36 has gone through many thousand rounds on 11.1v's (its outlasted 3 LiPo's over the years) and its fine, but it was built for the task. No mosfet, but its built like a tank and lucky. A 7.4v is considered to be better than an 8.4v and either slightly worse or equivalent to a 9.6v, depending on its C rating. I'd be fairly confident that anything put out by VFC can handle an 11.1v with ease, and that everything besides the BE would be fine. I'd be much more concerned about damaging the battery by overshooting it, but its easy to not do that.
