• Do people that are blind from birth have any dreams?

When you dream your brain releases DMT, the most powerful psychedelic known to man. So when you go to bed you unknowingly trip fucking balls. Fuck yeah.
Agree with the two first posters, except I think they dream of the world as they think it looks.
Holy shit :lsd:
I'd assume they see shapes and such. Just because you don't have anything to reference from, doesn't mean your brain won't create shapes and colors. After all, your brain can only "see" in RGB, anyways, so your brain might just make up colors.
have you ever fallen out of a map in a source game? I imagine it would be like that with no hud
Well that made nano technology that they put into your brain and hook all these wires and stuff up and these robotic eyes and it makes it so you can see it was on Popular Science future of Senses or something like that
I'm blind but the keyboard and screen were in brail so i was fine. Basically all we see is blackness :(
How can a computer monitor possibly display physical braille?
Well with the one I said it is nano technology and holes and stuff drilled into your head and wires and stuff but they have some graphical glitches were it shows black squares but the blind woman they tested it on said she never would of though life is so beautiful
How can a computer monitor possibly display physical braille?
Future duh
Just tossing my coins, but I have seen a show of a man, blind from birth, who could comprehend perspective. Also, it has been proved that the part of the brain which processes visual information isn't just absent and never active with a blind person.
You'd be correct. This man has never seen the world as it is, yet somehow he is able to comprehend how objects are depicted, and quite accurately. Neurologists (and I'm sure scientists of other fields) are still baffled by this man's ability to represent a world he has never seen. I have a few theories on the subject, but I don't want to bore anyone so I'ma post the video this guy referred to:
Already seen it on the Science channel, that's were I seen the technology that makes it so you can see!
That video makes me feel like "Why the fuck did I get born with eyes, I want to do that shit!".
I once asked myself how people see the world that are born bild, deaf and have paraplegia. I mean they don't feel, see or hear anything. They just exist. Can they even THINK? I mean they have no input they can recreate. We think in words or pictures but people like that wouldn't know something like that.
They don't. :smug:
