All the albums are about the classical elements: Crack the Skye - Aether Leviathan - Water Blood Mountain - Fire Remission - Eath ???? - Wind Not sure about blood mountain and remission, I might have got that backwards.
Remission's Fire (March of the Fire Ants), Blood Mountain's Earth I don't know if they're doing Air next, they said something about shelving the project for a while, but maybe I picked it up wrong v:v:v
I've never heard of Light and Dark referred alongside the classical elements, Ether is relatively common though
Must a been yugioh. lol
Light and Dark are elements in fantasy. Not actual science.
Light and Dark are elements in fantasy. Not actual science.
JUST CAUSE I WANTED TO HAVE SEX WITH TEA GARDNER ;_;
Every ISIS album
No comments nor even agrees?
Nobody here even rated the OP. I'm the first in line at the complaint department
Because ratings are very, very important.
Nobody here even rated the OP. I'm the first in line at the complaint department
I think there already was a thread on this.
I think there already was a thread on this.
You've made nearly every thread we need in here.
You've made nearly every thread we need in here.
I think reset panda made it, or was it me? :smug:
I think reset panda made it, or was it me? :smug:
No it was you. Panda made threads that were slightly less purposeful.
I think reset panda made it, or was it me? :smug:
You probably made it, knowing your fondness for Pink Floyd :mmmsmug:
You probably made it, knowing your fondness for Pink Floyd :mmmsmug:
Yeah... well it is a saucerful of fondness. :v:
Resident Coheed & Cambria nutter here. All of their albums are concept albums in one big saga so surely Year of the Black Rainbow isn't the only noteworthy one. :v: I'd say Good Apollo I is probably their best example of a concept album though. Definitely their best effort. [img_thumb]http://images.wikia.com/lyricwiki/images/3/32/Coheed_And_Cambria-Good_Apollo,_I%27m_Burning_Star_IV,_Volume_One-_From_Fear_Through_The_Eyes_Of_Madness.jpg[/img_thumb] Also, fuck yeah, concept albums. :frogc00l:
I always thought the C&C song "Welcome Home" was a Metallica cover :S
Nope, haha.
burzum?
Yes all of the main releases past Filosofem have been concept albums from what I can recall. I thought of this last night but I think Wolves in the Throne Room's Two Hunters is a concept album.
Why have you not included this? :colbert:
I'm not too sure Leviathan has a strong concept. Maybe I'm wrong.
Leviathan is based on Moby Dick.
Leviathan is based on Moby Dick.
I love me some o' that whalecore
Yeah... well it is a saucerful of fondness. :v:
...we're not even in the Pink Floyd thread, and still... Really shows Sanchez's and Travis' influences.
Why have you not included this? :colbert: [img_thumb]http://www.brainwashed.com/common/images/covers/krank027.jpg[/img_thumb]
I don't think this is a concept album. It is however amazing no matter what.
If you're into hardcore, you gotta check defeater. Lost ground ep is about a young guy going to WWII, and then not finding a place in society. And travels & empty days and sleepless nights go about a young boy, kills his father, travels the country to find peace, but doesn't. Really cool.
then what happens
then what happens
He goes on a killing rampage and murders President Nixon.
then what happens
gotta listen eh
