Pizzas are a very delicate subject. Margherita pizzas can either go overboard on the tomatoes or cheese, which can lead to a very very disgusting pizza. Too much tomato, or even using tomato puree , leads to a disgusting pizza. I just get some plain ass pizza with as many chillis, peppers and jalapeños on it as physically possible. Gotta love that spice.
Thanks maddox defender of pizza. 'Cheese' pizza is not dumb tho, the original pizza has no toppings, beside special tomato sauce (Pomarola), mozzarella and Origano. Maddox makes it simple but even the 'bread' is no simple bread, it takes either milk or beer as a component for the desired quality. The thruth is- a pizza without all the traditional ingredients and 'dough' is but a watered down version of what a pizza should be. I hope this post doesn't sound presumptuous, but it's just how things are. [editline]Edit:[/editline] To call bullshit on the 'bread' comment, this is white pizza with oil and rosemary: [t]http://officinadellagastronomia.it/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/pizzacroccante.jpg[/t] (I'm sorry for the watermark) It is pizza- but it's usually served as buffet or with apéritifs.
I dont care as long as I get something to eat.
Cool buddy, no one cares how you feel about how other people order pizza. Surely won't stop me from ordering plain cheese.
I would only see you as a yokel.

i like mpepperoni and green olive pizza on a thick crust or hawaiian pizza
Had no idea this was gonna turn into a pizza megathread, holy fuck.
maddox is a cool guy that's usually right. but in this vid he's just too wrong. pepperoni's good. one of my favorite toppings. at all the pizza places I've been to, pepperoni is the best sausage you can have on your pizza because no pizzerias outside of italy got any high-quality sausages. it's either a) pepperoni or b) salami. but the salami is always so mild and thinly sliced, which sucks. btw, who ever dabs the grease off their pizza???? he should have ranted about the terrible thick plastic "ham" that all pizzerias outside italy and spain put on their pizzas. ^ insult to meat. im throwing up
Disregard the ham, who the hell puts pineapple on a pizza?
Disregard the ham, who the hell puts pineapple on a pizza?
good people
Disregard the ham, who the hell puts pineapple on a pizza?
I do :( Just love the Americana pizza. With ham, pineapple and blue molded cheese. As a matter in fact I had two of them last weekend. Deal with it. [editline]28th August 2013[/editline] The quattro-formaggio is a good type of cheese pizza.
i never had pineapple pizza i want to try shrimp on pizza but apparently florida doesnt have that despite being a seafood state.
Pineapple is really good on a pizza with peppers. Especially pepperoncini. The sweet cancels out the bite of the peppers in a really neat way. So, all CB is ham but not all ham is CB. I just use CB for both CB and ham. Makes it really awkward when somebody asks for half ham half CB on a pizza.
eating a pepperoni pizza right now fight me
This what my pizzas look like. I'm not the best at making them look pretty yet, but I'm getting better. I've only been making pizzas for about 9 months now. We use a 100% real skim milk mozzarella, most of our ingredients are fresh (some of them are way better for a pizza if you used canned, like mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms can ruin pizzas). We use nothing synthetic. Our pepperonis are really nice because everywhere else uses fake pepperoni and fake cheese.
American pizza culture is weird
American pizza culture is weird
Consumerism + cultural mixing pot will do that
I've only encountered American pizzas twice after a Pizza Hut opened up here. All I can say is: What the fuck do you guys think you're eating. If you order something that has any kind of topping on it, congratulations, it's all drowned in a sea of bland, regardless of whatever is actually there, pineapple, mushrooms, shrimp, pepperoni, anything, the taste is always the same, it's just bland. Bland not enough for you? Well luckily for you, there's 4 liters, sorry, 1 gallon of grease poured over the fucking thing just when you though your food couldn't get any more disgusting and messy and about to give you cancer and diabetes and 7 counts of heart attack per second. If I wanted that I'd just put some sweeteners into a bottle of saturated fat and chug that down, not as messy, and about as nutritious.

Most people get pizza hut and dominoes because you can get a lot for the same price as a single large home style one.
BBQ chicken bacon pizza is so good
If anyone is interested at how the Nitrosamines actually form, you should read this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_nitrite#Nitrosamines http://flipper.diff.org/app/items/info/4138 Pretty interesting stuff.
Disregard the ham, who the hell puts pineapple on a pizza?
Lots of people, all of whom I refuse to speak to.
I only have cheese pizza, but then again my taste buts hate me and I'm lucky to find food I actually like. I don't even like cheese, I have to take off excess cheese if the pizza has too much or it tastes like shit.
I don't care that much about which flavor of pizza I get as long as it's from a small pizzaria and not a chain Domino's, Pizza Hut and Little Caesars and the like all have that plastic feel to them if you know what I mean
