Remember when the owner of the company admitted it was a fraud.
Let's not forget his "fuck the system" avatar.
No, it's my "wholey fucking shit my inbox is filled with farmville and social quiz invites" avatar. There, I changed it for you.
all 20 of your friends send you invites???
It seems like it would be rather easy to create a product as simple and easy to produce as these are, and sell them 40x higher than what they're actually worth. If only I wasn't the type to feel guilt about ripping people off.
all 20 of your friends* send you invites???
Yes. *My real life friends, not 500+ people I added randomly to be cool.
Damn, my skin was 3.5 gigahertz this whole time!!!!!!
I overclocked my wrists like a month ago and I can move twice as fast now
Just smoke weed man. Gets my hertz down any day. [editline]22nd February 2011[/editline] Programmed frequency embedded into a mylar hologram. (What? not possible you need a power source for something to vibrate at a frequency) magnetic field of your body. (Ok but this is so weak it usually cant even be detected) It allegedly restores it to the 7.83 hertz required. (Might work if you are the terminator.)
I ripped one off a friends wrist once. After he saw there was no granulated magnets or magic of god I just ran and said "You're welcome" [editline]21st February 2011[/editline]
I overclocked my wrists like a month ago and I can move twice as fast now
This sounds like a bad kids superhero show (Also, everyone's buying this shit up in downtown LA because of Kobe Bryant. I wish I could just kill him without the slightest attention sometimes.)
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_balance_bracelets Proof its all placebo.

"I'll hook you up with some." "How do I know you are legit?" Some quotes from the day.
In what way did it work? :q:
how do you even twist my post like that you dont make sense get laid
Man, it's all vibrating all around me! My frequency is sooooooooooooo high!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_balance_bracelets Proof its all placebo.
Ahh, gotta love a bit of pseudoscience in the morning. Hang on, "The company began selling bracelets in 2007 embedded with holograms that were purportedly designed to interact with the body's natural energy flow." Embedded with holograms??
I think it was proven fake, and that powerbalance gave a refund to everyone who bought their product
Embedded with holograms??
A pseudo3d picture in some plastic.

I know they don't work and I think people who believe that they work are really retarded. But still, I wear a PowerBalance to work or to the gym religiously. It's a great conversational piece and I like it on my wrist. Makes me feel like a boss.
Didn't the company that made the Power Balance band got sued multiple times for false advertisement?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_balance_bracelets Proof its all placebo.
Sounds like complete horseshit only morons buy into made up to sell a product -> turns out to be complete horseshit only morons buy into made up to sell a product. It's fucking magic.

It's fucking magic.
All alternative medicine works that way. Look at that Airborne stuff all the suckers buy to prevent colds. Doesn't work for shit, of course.
The following celebrities needed money
"Power Balance gives me an edge physically, it keeps me centered and for me center and balance are the most important thing. I started using Power Balance after I saw my wife have the best sesh of her life with the stickers on her board, she sold me! Since then I use PB every time im in the water. Also, in stand up paddle boarding you use the paddle as a means to maintain stability and Power Balance is just another tool to keep your balance. In my mind stand up and Power Balance were made for each other."

“I don’t really do a lot of testimonials, but this really works! I came across Power Balance when someone did the test on me. That night, while playing for the Phoenix Suns, there were about three of my teammates with the product on and we won that game by 57 points! I kept feeling something when I wore the bracelet, so I kept wearing it. When I took it off I went back to normal. I’ve been wearing the bracelet ever since. I want to do everything to get the slightest advantage; wristbands, necklaces, t-shirts, band-aids, everything and anything we can get our hands on. I’m here to tell you it works!”
Vague as fuck descriptions of a placebo effect, I'm sold.
Damn coincidence, was at a fair today (with all the student-driven companies from schools around Stockholm) and sure enough one of them was selling these things. The demonstration consisted of putting the armband on, stretching out your arm, standing on one leg and then the guy would pull your arm down (and then comparing with and without armband). I was pretty doubtful of the demonstration (I'm quite sure he pushed the arm down when you had the armband on you, and then pulled the arm to the side when you didn't). He was a good seller though, so I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and bought one (no I didn't pay 50$ for it, it cost me 3$), also because I want to dissect one just to see if they at least put in something like a magnet in it or if they really just thought "Fuck it" and it's all plastic. And yeah, these things don't work at all.
