My grandmas uncle was on this ship. He survived
Thread music. Best part is when the uilleann pipes kick in.
This, and Unable to Stay, Unwilling to Leave, are the best.
My Heart Will Go On would've been amazing if Celine Dion didn't ruin it with her completely out of place singing. Great film though.
Only filmed that had me in holding back man tears when I re-watched. Not seen for a while though.
Shit, accidentally disagreed.
My grandmas uncle was on this ship. He survived
His name?
I really liked the part where that guy hit the propeller blade as the ship was going down. That was a smash hit.
Oh god whenever I see that I instantly say Ouch!
I've never watched this film, and probably never will :colbert:
I've never watched this film, and probably never will :colbert:
Do yourself a favor and watch it.
The way I see it, the film was better as a documentary than as a romance.
The way I see it, the film was better as a documentary than as a romance.
This. A thousand times fucking THIS.
I've never watched this film, and probably never will :colbert:
Well that's your opinion.
Avatar wouldn't have been made, probably.
Note to self, if time machines are ever build. Go back and make damn sure the Titanic never hit the iceberg. But wait, didn't James Cameron say that he had the idea for Avatar before Titanic?
somebody post the pics of the beewbs scene

How would things have changed?
A lot of very successful and smart business men would have survived and eventually grew on their enterprises. Perhaps making some new items we don't even have today. I'm fascinated by the movie due to the actual history. I can handle the romance but it's really just a gimmick to attract the public. I've been reading "A Night To Remember" Best account of Titanic's survivors. The author interviews 60 survivors and gets a pretty vivid account. I'd recommend looking for it.
If you ever go to a Titanic exhibition, DONT BUY THE DVD. Because Titanic was one of the first dvds, it is effectively windowboxed. The movie letterboxed inside a 4:3 ratio for old square TV's. Just a quick heads up.
This was always my favorite ride at the county fair:

I watched this movie when it came out. It pissed the hell out of me when it was mentioned in that Britney Spears video. That bitch didn't deserve that necklace, send it back to the ocean!

Also, does anyone know if any of the coal shovelers made it? In the movie they show them running away from the watertight doors, some making it, some drowning. I'm pretty sure they're not shown for the rest of the movie. Edit: Have I found one?
My dad and uncle went with my mom and aunt to see this on opening day. When all the people were falling into the water and falling down the ship as it sank they were making pinball noises. "HOW CAN YOU DO THAT?! THIS IS SO SAD!!!" was the general reaction from everyone else in the audience.
