I have to say i watched it again after reading this thread. Music good, Filming good, Cinematography Epic. But i still cringe a little at the romance. This bit that made me shed manly tears was the part where they where returning with the lifeboats and the crewman, even though he must have known they where pretty much all dead kept on trying to find survivors. really sad scene.

I wrote a paper on My Heart Will Go On for Western Humanities class. I heard/saw it by the Florida Orchestra with this soprano singing and like, dang. It was really amazing.

I am fascinated by the Titanic, and shipwrecks in general. Though, weighing in what happened to the Olympic and Britannic, chances are if the Titanic didnt hit the iceberg, it would have been scrapped, or pressed into war service anyway. No grand ocean liner should be painted in drab grey and forced into service.

It's ashame that a great boat like the Titanic went down, it's a sad story. But yet, the captain was retarded anyway. I had a math teacher in high school who served in the Navy for years and wrote several books about the Titanic. There's so much interesting stuff I learned about the Titanic from that class. :v: I just watched the whole film yesterday (it was on TV). I haven't seen it in years, and actually paid attention to the whole film and not just the destruction. :v:

Does it show the parts about how some of the staff took a lifeboat and how some lifeboats were launched only half filled. OH and the parts where they locked all the cheaper seating decks until most of the rich people got off the boat.
