Our planet is extremely small compared to the enormous ones we've seen in space. Wouldn't it mean that a large amount of them would have to have fucking enormous lifeforms? I mean, I wouldn't expect a rat sized race to invade.

I once saw a huge object made up of three red lights fly from behind my neighbors house(incredibly close) off into the sky. I assumed I was justing seeing things. However, my other neighbor recently was talking about UFOs an then mentioned that he saw what I described, doing the same exact thing. I basically shit my pants and asked him if he was kidding. I told him that I saw it too and we both got creeped out. That was years ago too.

The funny thing is, UFO's are never spotted by the thousands of professional and amateur astronomers constantly looking at the sky. You would have thought they would have spotted some by now if they existed, or more likely, that most UFO sightings are caused by illusions that astronomers fully understand, or objects that they are familiar with but would look like a UFO to a regular guy with a video camera. I don't see how the aliens would get here in the first place, since it'd take an extreme ammount of resources to even get here. I belive there are civilizations somewhere out there, but I don't think we'll ever meet them, atleast not in our lifetime.

We should definitely go off and make an official thread in GD; here are a few ideas (I don't want to do it myself because I'm not very well known around the community, etc.) Title: Extraterrestrial Life V1.0 - The UFOs are coming! - Talk about what extraterrestrial life is in general; give the users characteristics and ideas of what they are looking for. - Give explanations for things such as UFOs and ET (abbreviations, etc.) - Post pictures and videos that might shoo away the "Oh this shit is fake" posters. - Post questions that the users can debate on, and put forth their opinion. @Booster The video in OP's post shows how fast some of these UFOs can speed away. God only knows how much faster they travel when they're in space. You have to think way outside of the box, for all we know, these UFOs are powered by grape juice...

The way I see it is if Aliens do exist and are visiting this planet. They don't seem to give 2 shits about us. They haven't announced themselves or tried to kill us all.

The only thing that I thought looked interesting in the video is the Jerusalem footage, but it seems it's a hoax. As for everything else all I saw was some powerful light or laser being shone into the sky, kinda like this: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/n1yEl.jpg[/IMG] The other one in China just looked like a rocket to me. It looks almost identical to this Vandenberg rocket launch [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/0qvfb.jpg[/IMG] You can even see the trail from the rocket engines in the video. As for the spiral, debunked many times as a failed rocket launch in which the fuselage is sent spinning, venting fuel, as shown in this animation: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zx8i5EfmYU4[/media] If I recall correctly it was later confirmed to be from a Chinese rocket. The rest just seem to be peculiar cloud formations, a picture of a comet taken by Hubble which was fully understood when it was taken, some stuff burning up in the atmosphere, probably man made rather than meteorites due to the apparently low speed of the objects, and some twinkling lights in the sky which look like Chinese lanterns. Oh and some nutter on the radio.
