Gaiman comes across as a man who have his fingers in lots of different pies. Whether it's children's books, films, TV, poems etc, he seems like he doesn't want to stay and do one thing for a a sustained period of time. Although him being showrunner would be good, it's unlikely ever to happen.
Gatiss and Gaiman should take it together.
No need for it to be one person. Classic Series got fine with two in-charge.
Incase you missed this- it seems Madame de Pompadour is coming back (possibly the 50th?)

Rather not see her return. I hope this anniversary special isn't turning into a Moffat Celebration. Still excited though.
Cuts to a shot of Ten and Eleven playing cards. "Do you ever feel like you're not that important anymore" ponders Eleven out loud. Ten breaks down, "Rose".
Cuts back to River, Jenni, Strax and, Vastra fighting a Weeping Angel with the power of love.
In the final scene Eleven uses his sonic screwdriver to win the card game and Ten threatens to bend the laws of time so he wins.
I met and ate sushi with Gaiman. He was amazing.
At that point I had just finished reading his collab with Sir Terry Pratchett and I was practically drooling.

I don't know Gatiss very well, but I think him and Neil could do it together easily.

Don't worry, Moffat's actually trying to arrange a date with her, Alex Kingston and Huey Lewis.

World Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention in Montreal. My mom was organizing the teen lounge and programs and managed to get Neil to come in and have a sushi party. So we had the hotel room I slept in and a huge suite for the teen lounge. The suite had a loft and we went up there with some tables and ate sushi and chatted. We being the people invited for the party.

Maybe she cupped a bit of the Doctors regeneration energy and decided to terrorize a nearby street with it.
Does Moffat really go downhill?
I just started season five and almost all Moffats episodes before this are my favorites. The Empty Child, The Girl in The Fireplace, Silence in the Library, Blink, - they were all fantastic. Not to mention that Sherlock is probably my favorite TV show of all time (Doctor Who is getting really close now though)
So do any of you guys have any Who gizmos? I've got a pair of screwdrivers.

Yes, the episodes Moffat wrote before RTD left are much better than after. That being said, Eleventh Hour and Bells of Saint John were great, but most of Moffat's Smith-era episodes have been kind of so-so.

His episodes are fine. But he seems to not be managing everybody else.

God bless you Bernard Cribbins, you amazing man.
This week's episode terrified me. It was so... claustrophobic.
I expect next week's episode to scare me even more.
anyone know how to watch the newest eps of doctor who legally for free in the US?
amazon prime apparently doesn't give bbc shows out for free anymore
edit:
except top gear
The Rings of Akhaten 7.45m
7.95 million - Series 1 average
7.71 million - Series 2 average
7.55 million - Series 3 average
8.05 million - Series 4 average
7.73 million - Series 5 average
7.52 million - Series 6 average

Again, if it wasn't for The Stolen Earth's cliffhanger, Series 4 wouldn't be peaking up there quite so much. Ratings are on top form.

Cultbox Spoiler-Free Review:
The Doctor and Clara barge in like an excited couple late for a fondue n' phantoms party - if that was ever a thing - interrupting the hunt for the Witch of the Well with Tennant levels of enthusiasm. It's refreshing to see Smith's Time Lord so truly eager about something, rather than enigmatically cocking his chin at another mystery.

Cross is so particularly good at writing for Clara you'd think he created her, and Jenna-Louise Coleman has never been better, nor more button-cute. That she even manages a feisty rapport with a big blue box - in what's arguably the episode's best moment - is testament to just how much she belongs on this show
