The Power of Leaf was one of the worst episodes I think I've ever seen, after having time to digest it. Nearly on par with Love and Monsters. I don't think this writer can write sci-fi.
Tonight's episode seems like a typical spooky episode and eh it doesn't look very good. But we'll see. I hope I'm proved wrong!

It's not a sci-fi it's a Science-fantasy. Always has been.
Sure Moffat acts like the show should be a Sci-Fi but he's still writing it as a Science-Fantasy just like every other writer in the last 50 years.

Considering this was shown in cinemas and spammed around the web weeks before Series 4 aired, I'm surprised Rose's return managed to come as a shock to anybody.
I think it was just the fact she was in the first episode is what shocked me.

True here too; my digibox doesn't seem to be working properly at the moment and doesn't have any channels on it at the moment, plus the channel-scanning feature isn't picking anything up. That's kind of my excuse to play some DotA and watch the episode on BBC iPlayer when it's actually dark out. (speaking of the weather, it is rather nice and sunny out today if you ask me; can't see any clouds)
