It seems everybody knew how shit the production was but just played along with it for the fans.

Officially it's 60 minutes.
Leakers have said longer. Some have said it's a two parter concluded at Christmas.
BBC said in response to people getting upset that it won't be one sixty minute special.

Next week it's expected we will see The Eye of Harmony. Along with a clip of Chris' voice. And something else returning which many speculate is The Hand of Omega. I personally would like it to be K9. :P

True; K9 would probably try to seek out the Doctor if Sarah Jane passed away. Elizabeth Sladen herself died two years ago; two years and two days to be precise. Feels like such a long time since she left us...

The Rani was the worst thing to happen in Doctor Who history. Camp and ridiculous.
They seemed to only create her to answer all those complaints that female character are underwritten.
Despite the fact that the Doctor perpetually travels with a girl who ALWAYS turns out to be extremely important somehow

Martha wasn't special. That was always the best thing about her.
My memory is so terrible... I can barely even remember what happened in previous seasons.
I liked how the monster only wanted to get to see his love - it's a lot better than having the villain wanting to destroy Earth/humanity/the Universe/The Doctor/The TARDIS etc. it's nice to see something small scale and simplistic rather than a big potential calamaty happening if the Doctor doesn't do something pretty much every week
