She died the day before the Autons. Maybe she was in the building Nine blew up. What a dick.
The Celestial Toymaker.
Carmen Silvera played Clara (The Clown).
This character truly is just one big meta-reference :v:

I wonder if The Doctor being a monk in St Johns is a reference to the years Tom Baker spent as a monk before becoming The Doctor.
I wonder if him being called the mad monk is anything to do with this
http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Grigori_Rasputin
probably so, right
We all know Rasputin was actually a newly regenerated 9 who went to Russia to drink loads of vodka and forget the time war
We all know Rasputin was actually a newly regenerated 9 who went to Russia to drink loads of vodka and forget the time war
No, you're wrong. It was in fact 8 after the Time War - he was assassinated and regenerated into 9. Get your facts straight!

That was incredible. I skipped to some point near the end and K9 was massacring a group of people.

"That's not my hand coz my hand's not white"
the best twist RTD ever wrote? He does write 11 quite well though. Completely fucked his costume though.

So unbelievably glad Sarah Jane got to meet The Eleventh Doctor before it was too late. Shame the Brig didn't. Every time they tried to bring back The Brig to meet The Doctor, Nick was ill.
tbh, the singing in the recent one was kinda cringe-y and over done
I liked the song.. Like, how it sounded. How often it was used and why it was used, however, was shit.

don't get me wrong, i loved the song
but it was used and why it was use (like you said) was terribly executed
like it was just there to show you nice singing
Mommy? Are you my mommy?

Clara's mum died on the same day of the 2005 Auton invasion. Clara's dad would have been around the time of Father's Day (Rose's dad).
COINCIDENCE

i think not

probably though

Blonde in a shop with the tardis' phone number, similar car of death for fathers and clara's mum dying on the day of the reboot? This could be a lead to the 50th, where companions, old and the present doctors are indirectly involved in past events as previously rumoured
If I have to pick a favorite episode with Matt I'm going with Vincent and The Doctor. If only for the ending, and the speech. So much emotions. Love it.

Honestly I'd just expect this to be an excuse to re-use of some of the assets BBC has like the car. It works because it also means people develop theories if they notice small possible continuities, which for this show is absolutely true.

It's a different car though, different reg.
Ah I didn't notice that
That would be one hell of an bad driver if it was the same car.

PS
People saying an anniversary episode MUST have multiple Doctors are wrong. The 25th Anniversary Episode only had one Doctor. Multi Doctors aren't only allowed on anniversaries either.
I just hope there's a lot of fanboy-esque references to make it clear how awesome the entire series is; to celebrate the show itself, not just the doctor
All this talk of anniversaries and multi-doctor episodes got me thinking. Does anyone think there'll be a (somewhat smaller) anniversary celebration to mark the 10th anniversary of the rebooted show in 2015? Maybe that would be Eccleston's chance to appear.
I noticed the Doctor mentioned a universe where the laws of physics were dictated by a madman, when he was explaining his experiences to the planet creature. What episode is this a reference to?

Love and Monsters
it saddens me to say it but the last two episodes really didn't do much for me

I liked The Bells of St John alot :(
BoSJ was a great episode, loved it. This episode felt a bit crap, like a last minute filler episode.
I was expecting something a bit more grand, it was seemed to end so fast.
