I'm watching old interviews with Matt and Karen. They make stuff up flat out. It's like a little joke they're playing on the interviewer.
*Question about guest stars*
Matt: Dan Piri I really liked (Karen doesn't remember and begins to worry she's forgotten somebody). In episode 11, the guy that gets killed by the creepy dolphins
Karen I wasn't in episode 11
Matt: 12
Karen: I wasn't in 12 (she wasn't)
Matt: Yeah you were.
Karen: Oh yeah! I remember him now.
What. Dolphins in Episode 12 series 6? That was James Corden and Cybermen.
I remember in a Series 5 interview for the website Matt was telling Karen about his favourite episode of series 5, he told her it was the one they run around the castle and slide down the banister to get away from the monster. Karen stares blankly and admits she doesn't remember.
Is it a joke on Karen? If so, her remembering the "creepy dolphins" is hilarious.

Me and Chris have the same thing. It's from raising your eye brows too much. The forehead lines, they never disappear.
Found this the other day when browsing Who vids and came across something nice from that official convention they had last year.

I love how Arthur just slides off the couch.
And how Matt drives the Silurian away.

sec(A)=1/cos(A). So yes, maths (and Doctor Who).

Shit like this is why Confidential got cancelled. It used to be about making the show, very low cost. Then they started spending most the time dicking about and doing stuff with no relevance.
I think that the large amount of people who tuned into Confidential did so because of the dicking about
No I think a large amount tuned in to see how the show is made, see interviews with the cast and crew, and watch them dick about on set.
Nobody said "Golly. That cgi-heavy-episode of Doctor Who about moral dilemmas was amazing. The make up was highly impressive and I'd also love to know more about the writing process. I hope the confidential team pays to have Karen learn to drive a sports car around a track for absolutely no reason taking up nearly 1/4 of the show."
I remember when they flew the cast to another country, when no filming took place in that country. Some establishing and helicopter shots were done- the cast wasn't needed. Yet they were all flown out to do a tour and dick about in Venice. After that the show got in every paper about how it was wasting the tax payers money. It was bad rep for the BBC, they probably forced it out of schedules.

I love Matt's karate chops. Like how in this, his first reaction to a gift from Charlie is to karate chop it (5:10).

I also really loved Karen and Matt's chemistry (if that's the right word) especially at 1:46
Karen: Stop saying badger in my interview!
Matt: I want a badger...
Karen: You want a badger!?
Matt: Yeah!
Karen: You ARE a badger!
Bill Hartnell. What a man.
Could barley walk and still agreed to do his part in the show as he loved it so much. He didn't even want to stop being The Doctor, but his health and temper was getting dreadful.
Looking forward to the docu-dram.

I always find it akward watching people open Christmas presents. Even if they like the gift people always act like they like it way more than they actually do.

Why did The Doctor have to drop Rose off on the parallel universe at the end of Journeys End?
He should't be able to fly The TARDIS there for starters. But now he can (for some reason), so why can't he just drop Jackie back with Pete and then drop Rose, HumanDoc, and Mickey off in the universe they came from? Hell if he can fly The TARDIS into the other universe why not go and pick up Peter and put them all back in our universe?
[editline]24th April 2013[/editline]
According to people that have seen them, every episode is going to call back to a past doctor, in chronological order:
Rings - Susan reference - First Doctor
Cold War - TARDIS relocation thing - Second Doctor
Hide - Metebelis Crystal - Third Doctor
Journey - [sp]Eye of Harmony?[/sp] - Fourth Doctor reference
Crimson Horror - ??????? - Fifth Doctor reference
Nightmare in Silver - ????? - Sixth Doctor Reference
The Name of the Doctor - ????? - Seventh Doctor Reference
THE DOCTOR'S NAME IS RADAGAST

He was able to take the TARDIS there, as the reality bomb broke the walls of reality or something.
Donna said something on the lines of
"The walls of the world are closing again now the reality bomb never happened. It's dimensional retroclosure".
I suppose from a writers point of view MetaDoctor and Rose were taken there to tie up that storyline but I always assumed they would bring them back for the 50th. Something on the lines of The Five Doctors.

Good choice for the Seventh. Moffat née Cartmel Masterplan. More than just another Time Lord.

Yeah I remember after Journeys End finished everybody was saying how it leaves it open for them to come back because there will be an explanation for the ageing.
But now we're actually close to them coming back, I'd rather it not be them two versions of the characters at all.

Maybe The Doctor will dive to the ground and then blow a Cyberman open with a gun leaving him to scream in pain as his innards leak on to the floor and he collapses helpless. Then Eleven throttles Clara.
Perfect Sixth Doctor references.
VFX are getting to the stage where they can have one of the old Doctors from the classic series in the background, are there any plans to do this (not close up, just an easter egg or something)?
Smith and Moffat have both stated that The Master still belongs to John Simm. But no mention of future use under Moffat.

'Hide' has crawled up to 6.045 million.
6.27 is currently the lowest rating of the 2005 series. It's a shame that the 7m streak may end this way.
I'd love to see an anti-Matt Smith through, but John Simm in the same EP as Matt Smith, that would be funny.
For that reason, I'm hoping that 'Name of The Doctor' is our chance to see 11 properly angry. Because he hasn't been properly angry before.
Always more concerned & worried than angry. We get wonderful brief moments of it.
...where the heck have you been, he's been angry tons of times
And I mean REAL angry
Good Man Goes to War is a prime example
Compared to Tennant and Eccles he's barley been angry at all.
