Also people are speculating this will be the episode that [sp]breaks the regeneration limit[/sp].
I hope. Really, Doctor Who is like the James Bond movies in TV form. It evolves, and it affects multiple generations. [sp]More Doctors mean more people being able to tell more stories, which means more kids and more adults enjoying Doctor Who for a long time.[/sp]
...where the heck have you been, he's been angry tons of times And I mean REAL angry Good Man Goes to War is a prime example
"...wonderful, brief moments of it...." I believe were my words ;) Mere minutes worth. The S7 finale climax has only been filmed recently, apparently, straight from Moffat in DWM.
With John Hurt and a man in a suit.
Matt Smith in costume as The Doctor. David Tennant in costume as The Doctor. John Hurt in costume as [sp]his character which people insist isn't The Doctor but seems to be on some kind of space station with the two other Doctors so surely can't be from Elizabethan England.[/sp]
For that reason, I'm hoping that 'Name of The Doctor' is our chance to see 11 properly angry. Because he hasn't been properly angry before. Always more concerned & worried than angry. We get wonderful brief moments of it.
[sp]For the record I don't buy Hurt is playing a forgotten 9. He's filing in 9's role for sure, but I doubt it's 9. I'm going to spend all my time watching Hurt's character thinking "once upon a time that was supposed to be 9's role" :( Just like I'll be watching Thor thinking "this killed my dream 50th".[/sp]

It's weird because it pretty instantly clicked that this guy was The Doctor now and I really wanted to see more of him. I wasn't expecting that. Probably because it was such an impressive first scene. One hell of a scene for a first day :v: http://youtu.be/sVEY5AL5zzk?t=1m6s

I remember insisting I was going to give him a chance and enjoying this scene. I was always found the "ooh fingers" bit weird. It was a bit cooky. Now when I watch it the fingers bit seems totally normal. Gawd I love a good regeneration story. Nothing more exciting than getting to know The Doctor all over again.

From that photo, people can no longer refer to DT's extreme skininess
It happens when you hit 40 :/ [editline]24th April 2013[/editline]
[sp]* Life without the TARDIS? "I would just be a spaceman on a rock". * In the next episode you get to see the eye of harmony and the chameleon circuit.[/sp] * Gatiss is making a greatest moments of Doctor Who show for BBC 3 for the 50th, it will have newly filmed Doctor Who content. * There will be a live show on the night of the 50th... not quite sure what it will consist of, but it definitely wont be fiction, more likely a chat-style show with loads of people from the 50 years. * The 50th is 'will have treats for old fans and new stuff as well' - that could literally mean anything
These are from a reliable source. They dropped lots of stuff about this season, Zygons, Rose and all that sort of stuff months ago. Stuff in spoiler tags is for this saturdays episode. Stuff not in spoiler tags is just behind the scenes stuff. Very very interesting. [editline]24th April 2013[/editline] filming for the 50th is expected to go on for 11 weeks. Matt is only expected to be around for 4-6 of those. That's a very long time to film. It seems like they're working around schedules. Chris may not have the large role originally planed for him- but I'd be surprised if he doesn't appear at all. [editline]24th April 2013[/editline] That said the 11 weeks thing could be bull. Somebody else said 15 weeks. Maybe it's just 4 or 6. Who freaking knows?
Ah, I love this place.
Heh, I was watching a Hartnell episode earlier and they were talking about the BT Tower that had just opened, kinda reminded me of the Shard in Bells.
I really want the Chameleon Circuit to be a sick chameleon sitting on a rock sitting in the TARDIS. I think that'd be great.
Doctor Who, Saturday (April 27) at 6.30pm* Ten slightly important things about Journey [sp] 1. This ain't no bluff - you *will* see the heart of the TARDIS. 2. "That's properly bonkers!" 3. Expect many nods to the past - all the way back to 'An Unearthly Child'. 4. "The TARDIS will get huffy if you mess." 5. It's a timey-wimey one this week - the plot twists and turns almost as much as the TARDIS interior.* 6. "I'd explain if I had some charts and a board pen." 7. The Doctor and Clara take a leap of faith... 8. "Don't get into a spaceship with a madman!" 9. Some people are an open book - some people are most definitely not. 10. "I think I'm more scared of you right now than anything else on that TARDIS." [/sp]

They're now debating if the person near David is a woman or not. Some nutter is suggesting whenever The Doctor wears his blue bow tie he's actually the Teselecta. Why? No idea. People have tried to explain to him it makes no sense as he didn't need or meet the Teselecta Robot until Series 6 but he said "the episodes are probably not in order. More likely they have been arranged in such a fashion as to make some kind of sense to the audience." Doctor Who fans. What?
or, like, y'know, he has more than one outfit Maybe whenever David wears his blue suit then he's humandoc! The episodes are just out of order :v:
