Really, Doctor Who is like the James Bond movies in TV form. It evolves, and it affects multiple generations. [sp]More Doctors mean more people being able to tell more stories, which means more kids and more adults enjoying Doctor Who for a long time.[/sp]

Damn, this brings back memories of that New Years Day. It's weird because it pretty instantly clicked that this guy was The Doctor now and I really wanted to see more of him. I wasn't expecting that. Probably because it was such an impressive first scene. One hell of a scene for a first day :v:

I remember insisting I was going to give him a chance and enjoying this scene. I was always found the "ooh fingers" bit weird. It was a bit cooky. Now when I watch it the fingers bit seems totally normal.
Gawd I love a good regeneration story. Nothing more exciting than getting to know The Doctor all over again.

Also on Gallifrey Base. Some nutter is suggesting whenever The Doctor wears his blue bow tie he's actually the Teselecta. Why? No idea. People have tried to explain to him it makes no sense as he didn't need or meet the Teselecta Robot until Series 6 but he said "the episodes are probably not in order. More likely they have been arranged in such a fashion as to make some kind of sense to the audience."
