Dan stop making me have fan theories in the middle of class.
I'm kidding
Don't stop you wonderful person
Your display picture reminds me- they talk about Doctor Who in the latest Game Grumps. StarFox 64 - Part 3. I was glad to find they like it as Arin usually hates or hasn't seen all the British things that are good (Conker, Banjo Kazooie, The Beatles).

It's also really weird hearing Americans talk about Doctor Who like they've just found it. Mainly because a lot of them have. Their enthusiasm and attitude reminds me of schools in England back in 2005-2008

I started watching Doctor Who last year.
Then I told my friend to watch it as it was broadcast on an open channel on TV.
Then he told his friend, who is also my friend.
Who intrigued my other friends.
I literally spread Doctor Who around like a virus.
My friend did the same with Sherlock in his Media Studies class
Many high fives were had that day
Hideo Kojima is a Sherlock fan too. No idea on his opinion on Doctor Who. Can't see it being his thing.
Has there been any recent pics of Paul McGann, by the way? I'm wondering if he could actually grow his hair out to TV Movie lengths by the time any potential filming is requires. I don't think he's had it that long for years.
Well, if not he could get a wig, and that'd be okay I guess

After doing it for the TV movie, I have a feeling he might not want to be near those things ever again.

The one with him Baker and Davison is semi recent. Last month I think. It's longer than he's had it before, he usually has it quite short
He wouldn't even need to have it the same length as in the TV movie anyway. There's loads of recent stories he's been in where it's been short:

Although they'd probably need to be careful with the outfit, otherwise he'd just look like a stand-in for the ninth doctor
He looks like Mel Gibson.

Except way cooler.

Not canon or popular with the fans. Well the stories are but his new outfit isn't, mainly because his last one was so good. I imagine if he didn come back though his hair wouldn't be as long as it was.
I still don't think he will, I bet it'll be archive.
I'd just love to know how 8 regenerated into 9. Maybe its a stretch but I hope it might be explained in the 50th.

Injury from the Time War seems most likely.
The female anchor had no idea what they were talking about :v:
Also poor Paul, he's the only doctor not to have faced the daleks on TV.
Oh god, I realized Colin had gained weight but not THAT much weight...

Still the best cliffhanger ever. So exciting the moment that watch came out.

I want them to bring back Gallifrey just so we can have The Master back. Preferably with a TARDIS of his own and without his super powers.
[editline]11th April 2013[/editline]
Also I really like the character of Strax. The other two not so much.
Also Jenna said in an interview that the finale pre-credits links straight into the 50th and is massive. I suspect the leaked synopsis is alluding to more characters than [sp]Strax, Jenny, Vastra and River[/sp]
Yeah, this reveal was amazing, especially if you didn't follow the series and had no idea that was happening.
[editline]11th April 2013[/editline]
What's so funny? I started watching Doctor Who when Series 7 was airing, and when I started, I already knew some bits and pieces, like that Master was the Doctor's nemesis, that Daleks are bad, and that Doctor is a Time Lord, so all the reveals that weren't spoiled (aka fucking everyone tweeting out The Angels Take Manhattan spoilers back when I was watching series 2) were pretty awesome for me.
*Master Reveal*
The Master is my Dad's favorite Who enemy, he went ballistic during the reveal.
I didn't really like The Master from the classic series. He always seemed a bit "token bad guy" (dressing in all black, being posh and sophisticated, making people think he's good, evil facial hair, etc.)
John Simm's version made me really like the character until he became the insane lightning-bolt-shooting superhero.
Depends on The Master. Ainley was like that and very camp. Delgado was supreme, though the writers were disappointed he acted like a bit like pantomime villain. He wasn't written as such.
[editline]11th April 2013[/editline]
Also Ainley felt like it was intentionally trying to be Delgado, he was my first Master so I have a soft spot but he wasn't great. The Zombie-Master, Jacobi, and Simm really owned the role and made it unique.
II had also seen the parody with Rowan Atkinson many years ago.
The best Moffat episode ever.

to be honest at first glance I thought it looked like a glucose meter
If the Doctor can travel through space and time, why doesn't he just travel forward and purchase the latest model of screwdriver?
