What kind of facilities do you use? Got a workshop set up or something?
I'm more of a carpenter myself but interested in learning welding at some point, dont have any proper place to practice, too much wood around 'ere.[/QUOTE]
Yeah, I go down to the arts center and use their MIGs.

Do you want an exact replica or do I have some artistic freedom? Exact will cost a bit more because that blade is pretty thick, and it'll take a while to replicate it.

Have as much artistic freedom as you want, I just want it to look at least kind of similar. If I wanted an exact replica I would use my prop making skills and make it out of plaster, but I want it to be metal and have some weight to it
but having the blade be a little thick would be nice, but as I said above, whatever's easiest for you. Thanks for doing this again, your other stuff looks great.

This is gonna be fun as hell.
I'd probably buy one of those sawblade axes, looks like one the most menacing pizza cutters I've ever seen.
Also one of the most unhygienic pizza cutters too.

Surprise me
after halloween I'm so going to electrify it for the most lethal home defense weapon ever
Think you could add a small piece of sheet to the side so I can stencil "the tickler" on it?

You are literally the best, I can't wait to see the finished product
and I was thinking the same thing about the gravity hammer, not only would it cost hundreds in scrap but would literally weigh over 300 pounds, possibly exceeding 400. Unless it was made out of aluminum with all the gyro stabilizers that the "real" one was

Damn. What about a scaled down version, to fit in one hand, like a mallet? With some simplification, of course.

[editline]1st October 2012[/editline]

I think he's looking for something that's the same scale, not just like a smaller hammer head.

you will never fucking believe this
i was carrying the axe around with me and some random artsy looking fucker with a long ponytail was all "duuuude those are nasty! You selling?" eventually we worked our way to a price (hundred dolla for each piece) but i decided to keep them because i like them. i'm gonna see if i can have them put in a museum or some shit. i like these too much to part with them
i'll still make cheap shit though

zero difference in edibility
This stuff is super cool, too bad I doubt it'd get through customs, and even if it did transatlantic shipping would cost a tonne. However, shipping to my girlfriend in Washington...
I can imagine it now:
Her: Chris...
Me: Yes?
Her: Why did I receive a heavy as all hell package today with your name on it?
Me: Oh, that's my stylish apocalypse contingency plan
