I think the food's just average there. There's much better places, but I disagree that Denny's is one of them. That place sucks.
My fraternity goes to our local one every sunday after the meeting. I mean, there's better places to eat, but it's not that terrible.
Applebee's is quite good, Denny's is decent, but Applebee's is definitely better.
I will want to tell you that this is a thrilling story, brother. I've never really found their food to stand out. The two times I've been there were "meh" at the best.
Oh well, it's their waste.
Ruby Tuesdays is the best (especially the burgers)
I usually frequent local diners/restaurants instead of these large nation wide chains. Its something unique to look forward to every time I eat out.
I've never been to Applebee's, but I have been to Denny's. Denny's is shit, and I will never eat there again.
Denny's = :barf:
What kind of food do these places serve? They don't have these in Australia.
I've heard of Denny's though.
oh fuck it is applebee's i thought it was just idiots putting apostrophes before an s oh crap oh s
Or you could cook your own meals?
Just throwin' that out there.
The food is cheap and doesn't taste like an ass. Is if my favorite place to eat? Hell no, but when I'm a bit short on cash I'll go after 9 and get half priced apitisers and chill with my friends until 11 or so.
The group I usually hang out with usually goes to Fridays, Applebee's, or olive Garden, All great places to eat good without spending a fortune.
McDonald's is worse.
(hey firefox spellchecks McDonald's, weird)
at any given time a local restaurant will be thousands of times better than a giant chain restaurant
of all the things to rant about...
fine, I had some macaroni and cheese at applebee's, it was fuckin bomb
Their chicken strips are fine to me.
I share your dislike for applebees' OP

I do but it's not like I can make people want to go somewhere out if they want to go somewhere.
People eating food they want to? My god what blasphemy is this?!

You're right I should offer to cook for people. Except it will sound extremely gay/over hetero when I offer it to someone. Might be worth a shot anyways.
the only thing worse than applebees is tgif
I got green-coated french toast at Denny's. Nasty shit, and it wasn't Halloween.
Needless to say I walked out without paying.
I don't tip my waiter nearly enough, guys.
[editline]lol[/editline]
I find tips to be bull shit.
[editline]a[/editline]
Hell, I hardly ever tip at all.
I've been there once and will never go again. I know it's generally not a good idea to base an entire chain of restaurants off of one incident... but, well, sue me. Basically they got all our orders wrong. ALL of them. Every single person at my table. Well, I shouldn't say that. One person got it right. He ordered a burger and he received it... cut into 4 pieces. It looked pathetic. Yet hilarious.
[QUOTE=poryon2;20035784]denny's is fucking awful. applebees is like fine dining compared to denny's[/QUOTE]

Hey! I'm American and I only eat out at a diner about once or twice a year!
[editline]d[/editline]
I prefer take-out dining. McDonalds every night treats me oh so right!

Best place ever. I wish they were open 24 hours.
