Dude Applebees is one of my favorite restaurants and I've eaten at a lot of places. Who cares if their food is pre-packaged? It's not hurting anyone. Some are better than others depending on location though.

Dude, I just ate their Chicken Fingers Platter the other day. The fries are crispy, orgasmically good. The chicken is also equally good and I think it's the BEST chicken strips you can find from a chain.

I wouldn't say they're almost always good... but they have the capacity to be much better, IF the place is decent. Some of the pizza and shawarma places are damn tasty too, but again, this really depends.
They got good steaks is all.
I went there once when I was real young, it wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. I like their hot wings.

My whole family and most of my friends hate Applebee's. The service was shitty and the food was sub-par.
