He meant wg as in the company that makes his gun, although wgcshop is probably the best retailer of spare parts
hello everybody!
I have $170 bucks to spend on gun/mags/bb's and I don't want to buy some crappy gun, this one looks good to me but I don't know what I'm doing so a few opinions would be awesome!

With only $170 the gun you picked is probably a good choice. I don't know American prices but I'm assuming you can't get much better then what you have there for your budget.
CM 31 is good
CM 31 is a great choice. Ive used one as a backup gun for around 3 years now, zero issues, and great performance for the price.
I bought some Bolle T-800 Tactical Goggles for airsoft, and I just received them today.
On the top and bottom, there is a gap between the lens and the rubber part. The top part isn't big enough for a BB to get in, but in the bottom part, a BB can slide through easily.
My question is, are these goggles safe for airsoft? Will a BB be able to get in the goggles?

Here's a picture of the goggles:

they're fine, i know if a lot of people that use them

I was reading on a website that someone got shot from the side and a BB got in the goggles so I was paranoid.
Looks like you'll be okay. I feel as though I've jinxed them now though.

Why?
I used a clone version of the Bolle T-800's for over a year. Never had any problems with them really, but that gap was a concern for me at first too. Haven't had any incidents with bbs getting under the lenses, which in your case would be hard since the bb would have to ricochet up from the bottom of the goggles.
Yeah its not like you get shot from underneath very often so the chances of a bb even getting close to the open spot, nevermind in it, is very unlikely.
Just a quick one, how important is it to use high quality BB's?
Airsoft elite and excel just to name a few, those are your best bets since both companies make .2s/.23s/.25s and bios
And don't use bio bb's if you are playing against people who wear mesh masks. That shit will get in their eyes and it sucks (it's happened to me).

They're supposed to wear safety glasses under their mesh ._.
The CQB field I play at doesn't do that. I've never actually heard of doing that before.
Can anyone recommend any decent performing 1911s?
Some people at my field use KWA 1911's and I've never seen them have any problems.
WE 1911 MEU is a great weapon
WA is the best but overpriced and TM is probably the best when price is factored in. I have a TM 1911 and its been running smoothly for 2 years now.

WE's M1911's have mixed reviews. Either they produce many lemons, or they still produce older models. KWA is known to make THE BEST pistols, and I agree fully. It's up to you though; price or quality.
I don't really recommend the WE 1911. Spend the extra money for something that will last.
Are TM guns flimsy? I want to get a TM M16A2, but I'm afraid the thing might snap one day when I'm crawling through the sand and bashing it against walls. (I don't do that intentionally, but when you're in the heat of battle it sometimes happens due to the length of the M16)

Creaky, yes. Flimsy, no.

I've owned 3 TM M4s and M16s, no creak or anything. You need to know one thing about their M16s though, there is a pin holding the body in place near the back, it needs to come out to remove the body. Just be careful not to be rough when opening and closing the body because the tabs have been known to break, great gun with the whole pin issue aside though.

KWA is NOT known to make the best pistols, I have no idea where you got that from but in general the best made and most reliable are TM and Western Arms.

Well, I meant to say the best skirmishable pistols if you don't want to spend a shitton out of the box. TM is barely skirmishable shooting ~300 fps, and Western Arms costs a shitton.

Sorry I keep asking so many questions, I'm just saving up money now for guns/gear and I want opinions on stuff before I go and make an uninformed purchase and ending up with something that doesn't suit me.

How is 300fps not skirmishable for a pistol? I don't know what kind out out the box fps you're expecting but 320 is about the stock fps of any pistol which is what TM is at (with green gas) Not to mention I've seen 3 KWAs break down at fields while my TM M9 and 1911 have shot flawlessly even with sand in the chamber.
