While we're on the subject of gas pistols, are the WE-Tech Hi-capas any good? I said I was thinking about one in another topic, but I'm still debating on that or finding mags for a really old version of a KJW M9 I've got lying around.
Sorry I keep asking so many questions, I'm just saving up money now for guns/gear and I want opinions on stuff before I go and make an uninformed purchase and ending up with something that doesn't suit me.
I don't mind, I did the same impression 2 years ago. I got the itch to do a kit ever since the game, "World in Conflict"

Ignore trigger finger, the only thing I didn't do right was the fact my BDUs were too small and were all faded and wrinkly.
Not sure if this is the right thread but, whatever.
Going to start upgrading my 416. Mock Up below and then a list of parts.

Good parts? If not, please tell me what else I should get. At the moment the gun is completely stock and I have yet to order anything, if you have any other suggestions, please tell me. Can someone also recommend me a good flashlight for a USP?
I wish TM made more M4 based weapons.
Why?
TM are decent, long lasting guns and are pretty cheap as well.
I like metal bodies, but CA stock internals kind of suck after awhile.
I hate it when companies make "custom" m4s and shit, I literally say, "What the fuck" when companies like G&P and JG make guns like the "Stubby Zombie Killer" and shit, it just looks retarded.
I've been looking for a SUSAT (real of repo) and the only ones I can find are the STAR and G&G ones. These are fine, but if there is any other options could someone please show me?

I think there was an ACM version over on gunnerairsoft.com, but I recall it was over $100. No cheap ones that I know of unfortunately.
I know everyone hates "What gun should I get?" type questions, but I want to know if this is good for the money I'm going to be spending:

This will be my second AEG, my first being a JG M16A2.
Will I be able to use the battery that comes with this gun for a while? I don't really have the money for a new one yet.
I'm looking for an M4/M16 for no more than $270 at the very most, so any other opinions would be highly appreciated
I'd like to hope the battery ASGI gives you with it is good, but it's hard to tell since it doesn't tell you the brand of battery. If it turns out to be crap, ASGI's CS should be able to help you out. Long term, I'd save up for an Intellect battery, they last nearly forever.

Oh God, I saw a guy using the stubby M4 on our field once. It looked horrible.
I had actually bought the JG Stubby M4 when my old SRC's plastic body split at the pin holding the upper and lower together. Performance-wise, it's not bad, but good God, it was an ugly and stupid rendition of an M4/M16. Taking a solid stock from a normal M16 actually doubled the length of the gun. :v:
The only stubby M4 should be a Patriot, and I have never seen one in person.
The only stubby M4 should be a Patriot, and I have never seen one in person.
I know someone who bought a patriot kit for his M4. He said it was one of the worst purchases he made for it.

But it doesn't look like a bastardized piece of shit as other stubby M4's do.
I wanted to know, which one has better internals, the G&G GR-16 plastica or the G&G Combat Machine M4 blowback?
Both of them should have the same gearbox and internals, but the blowback has an additional system (a piston I think) for working the bolt.

Oh, 'cause I heard the plastica has the same internals as the proline
Yeah, IIRC, all of the G&G Affordable series have the same internals as the proline. The only differences I think are the externals.

Really? Then the affordable series sounds like a better bang for your buck.
If you were choosing between these two guns:
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_107&products_id=4726
or
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2651
Which one would you go for? I know the price difference is a lot but I'm willing to spend more for an overall higher quality gun
But it doesn't look like a bastardized piece of shit as other stubby M4's do.
It did. Believe me, it looked really bad in person.
Really? Then the affordable series sounds like a better bang for your buck. I don't really care if the gun isn't mostly metal, as long as the plastic is durable.
Well, it's not exactly plastic, it's a nylon fiber body. And it's damn durable, as far as I can tell with my experiences of the affordable series. I'm not going to go out and test the breaking point, but yeah, it feels really solid.

The first one for sure. The blowback is just a stupid gimmick, there is hardly any blow back on the gun at all. The first one is generally a great gun, lots of people I airsoft with have them and they seem to preform very well.
Yeah, the blowback is a gimmick. There's no recoil felt at all - all that happens is that you see the bolt fly back with every shot. Still it is a cool feature, albeit useless.
It's more for the sound. Some have the sound and the recoil, but with this it's more so that you hear the slapping of the bolt rather than that ugly gearbox-motor sound.
The recoil lowers FPS I hear. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Lowers rate of fire, not FPS.
Damn. I'm going to a game this Saturday and my JG M16A2 just crapped out on me. I went outside and tried to fire it, it didn't fire so I disassembled it and used the unjamming rod to unjam the inner barrel. A BB fell out and when I reassembled it and tried to fire it again, it still doesn't fire.
Did you try firing it when ti was jammed? How much did you fire if so.
That can cause a stripped piston or gear.
