I don't know, but Guay means "dude", and Guay Guay means "what up fool".
EDIT: Google brings me to a forum where a guy E-Mailed G&G and asked why it says that. When NAM reviewed their first run of M14s they called it a piece of greedy garbage. Another store reviewed it too and gave it the same nick name.

No. The lips often get real sensitive and spray BB's everywhere.
So how should I protect a 30mm Aimpoint? I looked into killflashes, not for me. The plexiglass crap that goes in front of your scope on the rail, ugly.

That looked good until I realized he hadn't quite said what he used to protect it, just that he also used it on his helmet cam.

Besides, it won't matter. You don't keep a tac-light on for extended periods of time. This'll be my first tac-light if I get it.
I haven't seen you around much anywhere on the forums until recently. Have you been lurking a bit?
But yea, if you got the money, get G&G. You will never be disappointed.
Took me a while to realize what he was using, it's that hell-a-nnoying plastic that comes vacuum sealed around toys and such (usually in a clam form), it's the stuff that you think you can pry open with your hands but you really can't and end up cutting yourself with it.
I don't think he mentions it in the guide, but if you're planning on doing this: make sure, when you tape the tabs down, that you tape them down with the tabs facing towards you, so the force of the BB is going against the tape, and doesn't end up pushing it into your scope.
Or just don't aim at people's scopes.
Or just don't aim at people's scopes.
Can't really help that. If we all went by that logic we wouldn't wear eye protection.
how the hell could you even be able to aim at a scope? let alone the entire gun? I can't be trolled by the way.

Trust me, a Killflash is the only guaranteed way to protect your Aimpoint. I had to learn the hard way and get mine shot out. Luckily mine had 2 lenses in front, so I still had time to get a killflash. They don't obstruct your view that much. I was able to save my Aimpoint again when the killflash took a direct hit. It left only a small dent, no cracks or significant damage to the killflash. It can take multiple hits if it ever comes down to that, not sure how well a thin layer of plastic will hold up to that.
As for the Tac Light, don't toss out the idea of LED's just yet. I'm using LED powered Tac lights and getting over 200 lumens on them. Plus they use less power than older incandescent bulbs, which is a huge plus considering the cost of CR123 batteries at some stores. I've seen some of the UTG flashlights in person and they're fairly good, they do their fair share at lighting up a room.
You might look into some of these flashlights by Fenix. I love mine, use it for every night game I go to. Some of their flashlights come with the ability to change the brightness settings, which does come in handy for when you need to see your hands to work on something without blinding yourself. Plus, some of their flashlights come with a strobe feature. I can attest that this strobe can royally fuck you up if look at it too long. You become temporarily blinded by this dark spot in your vision and you might even get a headache. Got to love those side affects.
Check out this one, 3 levels of brightness + strobe.
https://www.fenix-store.com/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=362
They also sell pressure switches for their lights too. Also, read the descriptions on their functions. Some of the on-off operations may not fit your needs while others will.
The flashlight I was looking at has 80 more lumens than that, looking for range here. I don't know much about flashlights though, so correct me if I'm wrong there.
I'm considering it though, because of the strobe feature and brightness levels. Strobe flashlights for one take a piss all over my already crappy natural night-vision, and I'd like a flashlight that doesn't totally suck like all of my other flashlights.
Trust me, anything over 120 lumens is more than enough for CQB and medium ranges.
I think I am really just doing a toss up now between the KWA Full Metal KM4 SR5, and the G&G Full Metal/Wood RK 47
Thoughts? Maybe a less expensive gun out there for my first gun..?
I've had the JG SIG 552 for a while. It's a hell load less than the guns you're suggesting but it's plastic. Ignore me if you don't want it though.

Scopes are cheaper than eyes.

I don't need flashlights, I have eyes for that son,
just because I didn't spend my elementry school years seeing who can stare at the sun longest.

Depending on the chrono you might was to order a new spring to downgrade the FPS on it, but it said 350 so I figure it should be around there.

Is the RK 06 essentially the same except it has a wooden stock? So I could just watch reviews on the 06 to see what the 03 is like
[editline]07:08AM[/editline]
I would prefer a wood stock though instead of a folding one.. They are sold out for the dboy one though.
Oh. Yes I would assume they would be similar but the RK-06 is a newer model than the RK-03 so it would have a few improvments over the 03.
Hmm, I've been looking at several different companies AKs and they all seem to have side mounts that look different.. I am wondering if that make a side mounting rail that works for one gun not work with the others... It is specifically the back part of most of the mounts that is not similar, the front parts all seem about the same.

The G&G RK 47 looks most like the RMP 2 I think..

Most companies like to put on 74mp03's or 74mp's.

Yes but if as you said, simply didn't aim at them, then there'd be no problem.
And the flashlight isn't so that I can see, it's so that the enemy can't. Ever stared right into a tac-light from 20 feet?
Well no, because I like my eyes.
Well no, because I like my eyes.
You don't understand your own logic.
"IF WE DON'T AIM AT THEM THEN WE DON'T NEED TO PROTECT THEM"
You don't understand your own logic.

No, actually. He kind of proved your point. He avoids looking at the light you are shining at him, meaning he has either closed his eyes, or turned away from you. Would be rather difficult to aim accurately if you aren't facing the enemy. You could spray and pray though... But that isn't really a good tactic. (spraying and praying I mean is not a good tactic, not the flashlight dealio w/e)

I was speaking about the tac light part.
You're confusing.

I love when people do this in night combat. The second they turn their flashlight on, likes like lighting a neon sign that says "IM RIGHT HERE! SHOOT ME!".
The way to do it is to buy a portable floodlight/spotlight with a tri/quadpod, turn it on, deploy it facing the enemy, and leave it on. They cant see beyond the light, but they cant kill its operator (Since it doesnt have one :v:)
Like this one:

Oh it was at the tac-light part. Well I've been up against them before, they're pretty effective on groups of 2 or 3 people, or just a really clustered large group.

Well then they suck if they're sitting out in the open with it on. You're supposed to use it behind cover in short bursts, or if you run up on someone I guess.
That's a pretty good idea. I think I should get one.

Even if you aren't out in the open, it still gives away your position, even if you flash it for just a second.
Would you guys recommend the airsoft GI guns, or are they just rip offs
They are good.
hurr.
ASGI wouldn't rip us off, they love us.
I mean their Airsoft GI G4 series.. They are like $200+ for customized G&G plastic guns..? Although I suppose they are around the same price for just the G&G affordable series, but w/e..
