I mean their Airsoft GI G4 series.. They are like $200+ for customized G&G plastic guns..? Although I suppose they are around the same price for just the G&G affordable series, but w/e..
So your saying that paying more for a fully customized gun than you would for the base gun is wrong?
So your saying that paying more for a fully customized gun than you would for the base gun is wrong?
I never said it was wrong, I asked YOU guys if it was a good deal or if it was a rip off. I don't know shit about airsoft pricing, as I am new to airsoft myself and haven't even purchased my first gun yet.. I am doing a ton of research though... [editline]07:09AM[/editline] http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3905 Hows the price on this? I am pretty sure it is what I will be getting for my side-arm. (Unrelated: Orange juice+ Mt Dew = delicious.)
Looks good. The pricing doesn't seem too bad.

In the 6 years Ive been playing airsoft, I have been in a situation where having a sidearm would have saved me maybe 4 times. Its really not worth the money unless you plan on running a very long gun that is useless in CQB or a gun that shoots hot on a field with minimum engagement distance.

I will buy my primary (Still not even sure what I will be getting for that.. I like SCARs, M4s and AKs, so I don't really know..) some extra mags, probably a red dot sight (Recommendations for that? I was looking at http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=252 ) and all my gear (BDU, and probably a vest.. But I really don't know what camo I want. I was thinking woodland tigerstripe, but I don't know where to buy it.) The only thing I am really worried about then if I am only getting my primary at first, is that it needs to be under 350 FPS..
Has anyone else here turned their Nerf Gun into an Airsoft gun? I did this with a few of my nerf guns to create a decent sidearm out of one of the pistols. :D
Fact: Mountain Dew contains ammounts orange juice in it. Fact: Mountain Dew throwback is better for you than Normal mountain dew and diet mountain dew.
One shot that shoots 60 feet. Amazing sidearm.
For CQB it's actually serves its purpose.
Alright, I am actually pretty set on getting a SCAR.. I would prefer if it had a realistic disassembly/reassembly (spring loaded screws, all the same size and such with a built in tool and what-not..) but I am not sure who makes one like this as they usually don't even advertise that kind of stuff..
Coincidentally, I actually just bought a nerf double barreled shotgun.
I don't really want to post here, but I don't want to get flamed out of here either. Does anybody know where I could find, say, a JG Bar 10 stock? Not the entire gun, just the stock. Doesn't need to be a Bar 10 stock either. I'm thinking about converting my Tippmann 98c paintball gun into a bolt action rifle over the summer and would need a stock to lay it in. I know it isn't exactly airsoft, but I thought you guys would better know where to get one.

Okay between: G&G Full Metal PM5-A4 Airsoft Gun And ARES MK16-L Airsoft Gun ( TAN ) What do you guys think..?
CQB or Field?
That's the question eh.. I really want to be able to do both. I guess the SCAR would be the way to go because it could just fold the stock and do both, but then it does cost a whole lot more
The last post was 10 hours ago = not dead.
I'm not going to leave, if that's what you want.
I doesn't need to be an ARES. Fyi: ARES is Star, they changed their name recently to ARES.

They said that they liked the Dboys the best I guess, but they have the black one because the tan (The one I want..) apparently looks bad..?

It looks alright, but the receivers do not match at all.
If I remember correctly, the real SCAR's receivers don't match either.
I recently upgraded my hop-up by putting in a new spacer and bucking. Now when I try to adjust my hop-up it gets a bit hard to spin the gears and it either goes way up or way down. I can't seem to get it to go somewhat straight. What should I do?
I've seen the tan one in person. It looks alright, but the receivers do not match at all.
I thought it looked kind of cool. But I'd get black because it matches whatever loadout you might want in the future.
Really what I am looking for is a regular sized rifle that shoots at 350 or a little lower.. Only reason I was looking at shorter weapons was because I thought they might have had a higher chance of shooting at that speed, but it seems like most people like higher speeds anyway.. Which is understandable, but I want to be doing CQB as well as field so I really just need an assault rifle that can do both.
CQB and Field.. would this work out?
CQB and Field.. would this work out?
NEVER BUY ECHO 1 THEY ARE OVERPRICED FOR BEING REBRANDED CLONES. I saw it a few days ago but disregarded it because it had the PEQ box and the A4 was out of stock.. If anyone knows where I could get the A4 that would be great, but if they are sold out everywhere I supposed I could just get the A5. (Or maybe I could wait until they come in stock again, depending on how long of a wait that would be.) Erhm.. Where are the springs even located.. That one doesn't have an RIS either though..
