Okay, I need some people to agree with me that Systema barrels are HORRIBLE. He's Doofus on the forums, by the way.
I'll agree with that due to personal experience. I mean really, worse accuracy than the shorter stock barrel that came with my gun, fail.
Okay, trying to install the MagPul MOE grip, and it's a pain in the ass. I've so far gotten off my old motor plate, unhooked the wires, but the motor just won't come out. What am I supposed to do to get the motor out of my old grip? And if anyone knows of a good video on how to install it, that'd be great. The one I'm watching atm has bad quality and a bad cameraman.

You can also try rotating the grip vertically, then proceed to shake and bash it. The motor should wiggle its way out. Sometimes just wiggling it with your fingers can do it too, but it takes a while. After than remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the grip and place them into the new MOE grip. I find it easiest to place the screws on the top of the screwdriver pointing upwards, then insert them into the grip. Hell of a lot easier than dropping them down the grip and trying to use some tweezers to place them into the holes.
What do I need to know about motor adjustment?
I think I'm gonna go for it. His customer reviews look good.
the gun, the radios and the charger are really the only things you would want from the auction, everything else is junk.
Okay so I'm planning on getting a longer barrel for my gun, and the MadBull Ver. 2 is in stock right now but the Prometheus one is not. The MadBull barrel is $35 while the Prometheus barrel is $60. Is the Prometheus barrel worth the price and for waiting for? Because I want the barrel soon. Oh and they're both the samer length and bore size.
I don't think there should be that much of a noticeable difference in my opinion
Go with the Madbull. I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of the one one I bought.
How are CA33Es anyway?
Probably the same as their G3 series. Keep in mind it takes it's own mags, G3 mags don't work with it. The weak stock is a common issue on CA G3's, often snapping at the body pins.
How are CA33Es anyway?
Not bad. The proprietary mags and bad hop-ups (As it is one of CA older guns, they sometimes had QC issues) are the most common complaints.
Not bad. The proprietary mags and bad hop-ups (As it is one of CA older guns, they sometimes had QC issues) are the most common complaints.
Couldn't I replace a bad hop-up though?
Couldn't I replace a bad hop-up though?
Yep.
My gun's hopup and range sucks, what upgrades should I get for it? It has a 509mm barrel.
My gun's hopup and range sucks, what upgrades should I get for it? Then get a Systema hop-up bucking along with either an H-nub or an SCS nub (link here) http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6446
Go with the Madbull. I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of the one one I bought.
Okay thanks.
How rare are threaded barrels for a WE 1911? I've had my eye on this http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_25_130&products_id=1729 but the only threaded barrels I can find are for the Hi Capa. Any thoughts?

Evike has one for 80 bucks, but that's almost as much as the gun its self, is that about the best price i'm gonna get?
How do I make my M4's metal parts look more aged? I want my gun to look like I beat at least 45 Reds to death. No more, no less.
How do I make my M4's metal parts look more aged? I want my gun to look like I beat at least 45 Reds to death. No more, no less.
Well considering you clubbed 45 reds to death.. Snap it at the body pin, and snap it at where the barrel meets the upper receiver.
How do I make my M4's metal parts look more aged? I want my gun to look like I beat at least 45 Reds to death. No more, no less.
Toss it down a hill with a shit load of rocks. Or use sand paper. But keep in mind depending on what type of metal the parts are made of. They can begin to rust and weaken once you strip that layer of coating off.
Beat 45 Reds to death.
How do I make my M4's metal parts look more aged? I want my gun to look like I beat at least 45 Reds to death. No more, no less.
nearly impossible, artificially, without painting it then aging it. The way M16's seem to age is they get glossy and some of the corners get scratched so it's a gamble to do it artificially. My suggestion is to play like 2-3 games, you'll notice a big difference, as long as you don't baby it(externally) during a game.
Anyone know where I can get a compensator for a KWA M9 PTP? I think they look really cool and would look awesome on my M9.
I believe it's part of the pistol frame, so don't expect to find one for cheap.
I believe it's part of the pistol frame, so don't expect to find one for cheap.
Yeah, it is. But any idea where to get one?
You don't normally use silicon lube on your AEG. What your normally use is that white (forgot the name) grease for the gears, piston teeth, etc.
I believe it's called white lithium, but I though you only used that in gearboxes, not barrels.
Where could I buy a CADPAT BDU
Where could I buy a CADPAT BDU
You can't. It's nearly impossible. Your best bet is ebay, or if you live in Canada. If you live in Canada I've heard it's easy to get them at local surplus stores. Or if you're willing to pay $600 for a BDU from Dropzone (better than the real thing).
