Eh, just did a bit of research. It's not just because my local surplus store is a bit lacking, there really isn't much else. Looks like I'll be doing MARPAT, it's either that or a Russian camo, which I'd rather not use since I have an M4 variant.

I've kind of changed my mind on ACU. It's not that bad. It's good in the snow, an environment that usually requires a camouflage of it's own kind, and at night, which all camos are but digital camos seem more effective at night.
But it's still really bad in an environment that's more brown than green, that's like 90% of the places you'll be playing airsoft.
Where in Florida? I'm in Vero Beach, and we hardly have any places to play, let alone official fields.
How do I do this correctly?
You could just run into a local Tuxedo/Suit/Fancy Dress Place and get some measurements done, or if you've had 'em done before (e.g. for a Tux for Prom) you could just call in and get your measurements that way.

Florida has a forum with official events, I know there is some very urban environments up near Ocala. Down in SF we use abandoned buildings and such, but they aren't official at all.
Do G&G mags work with my Echo 1 M4A1?
They should. If not, nothing a metal file can't fix.
Yeah they should fit, can't speak from personal experience unfortunately.
Why do better hop up buckings make the gun shoot better? I know they do, I just don't understand the science behind it.

They are better made thus giving a better seal. Sometimes they have some special thing about them but that usually doesn't make a substantial difference.

Yeah, I'm a member of the FL Airsoft site. Problem is, I'm 17 until August. So I can't really play in any official events until then.
We have a couple of abandoned buildings here in the Treasure Coast, but it's mainly woodland warfare for the most part, and I could use a change of pace.

The nub is also very important. A V-hop or H-Hop will give more consistency than the standarc cylindrical nub since there are more point of contact on the BB.
The bucking effects the accuracy somewhat, and keeps the FPS consistent by acting as an air seal between air nozzle and barrel.

Like that?
I don't even know if my gun's hop up unit would allow that. It's a little different than other hop ups I've seen.
Edit:
JG G3. It's kinda hard to explain, so maybe I'll get pictures sometime.
^ That nub is global, Really every nub is global to AEG's inless it's a completely custom hopup chamber
Buckings are just as nearly as important as the nub.
- Better Airseal
- Hardness really takes effect, More hardness is needed for high FPS set ups so it doesn't rip. At the same time less harder ones are for lighter FPS guns. Science i believe says they both produce equal hop if used in the right situation.
What would be a good place to get gear? I am getting the same shotty Ender has, but I would like to get gear that looked like something a riot officer would wear.

Well Ive looked EVERYWHERE for a clear facemask that wont break from a hit/costs less than 80 bucks so If you find one tell me!

CQB keeps you on your toes.

I don't care about the masks, just about the rest, since my aunt living in Spain is allowed to send me surplus riot facemasks :3:

Make one with plexiglass! :D

It's like Duct Tape: solves everything.
How do I remove the magazine release on CA M4s? Every takedown video, including a CA M4 takedown video, shows them removing the mag release via an allen screw and then sliding the gearbox out. I can see, looking up through the magwell, that the mag release is all that's keeping the GB in there, but I have a small problem. Theres no screw on the mag release. I've looked everywhere. No screw.
What do I do now? I've gotten up to the point where you remove the mag release and take the GB out, incase it wasn't obvious enough. I need to fix my sticky trigger by tommorow.

Right on the front of the button where you push, there is a screw.
Right on the front of the button where you push, there is a screw.
There's no screws in front of the button, but there's 3 pins along that side. At least they look like pins...

Excuse the horrible image quality, but those are the locations of the pins. There are no screws anywhere.

It's a real steel magazine release. Do a Youtube search on those. What you have to do is push the button with a a screw driver or anything else, then rotate the release on the other side of the gun counter clockwise. If you CA M15 has a bolt release that is attached to the body via a pin, you'll have to knock that out first before you can fully rotate the mag release. If it's like their older models, you should be able to just take the bolt release out without removing a pin.
Also to remove the gearbox, knock out the center pin you have pointed out. Then switch the gun to semi auto and jiggle the gearbox out.
Got the buffer tube on. Now the back body pin won't go all the way through :smith:
--snipped because i could have easily googled it and did--
Got the buffer tube on. Now the back body pin won't go all the way through :smith:
Order of reassembly.
1. Middle trigger pin (above the trigger)
2. Rear body pin
3. Pistol grip, motor, etc
4. Mag Release
5. Buffer tube
6. Upper Receiver
7. Front pin
1 and 2 are the hardest to get back in place if you do everything else before it. If they are first, they can still pivot around making it easier to line up.
Alright, I think I've got it all down. Thanks.
Going airsofting today and I got the body pin fixed, but I'll have to fix the trigger tonight. For the day I guess I'll be playing auto or just constantly reminding myself to just tap the trigger on semi, which is I guess something I should get into the habit of anyway.
OK, I have a noob-ish question: Whose v.3 gearboxes internals are better quality, CYMA or JG'S? I was planning on installing my JG internals into a full metal CYMA gearbox (my JG gearbox was slightly cracked), but when I opened up the CYMA gearbox, it had metal bushings, steel gears, etc. Here's the two guns/internals I'm comparing:

http://www.kapowwe.com/boneyard-spetsnaz-cyma.html
(yes, the CYMA is boneyard, but the only broken part was the fire selector)
Which Ak-47 is better, the JG full metal Ak-47 RIS or the Echo 1 Full Metal Ak Tactical? Just wondering.

Never buy from either site unless you need to. Get everything you can from Airsoftgi.com or Airsoftextreme.com
CYMA has far better internals than JG, but the best budget internals come from DBoys.

Same thing only one is metal.

They're both full metal
