Judging on the name alone, those are literally the same thing. Echo 1 is just a JG with Echo 1 trademarks, and maybe a few differences here and there. Echo 1 is a clone of a clone... In all situations (I'll speak for myself) I'd recommend JG over E1. [editline]avskwa;[/editline] But a JG AK? Maybe go for Cyma if you're looking for a $100-200 AK.
Echo 1 is improved JG's.
Echo 1 came out with a pretty cheap sniper rifle $110 for something that shoots 480fps is compatible with some MK96 parts and APS2 (Might work). Against the BAR10 though someone has to make a side by side comparison. Echo 1 "collaborates" with other companies to make their guns.

There where CYMA trades all over the gearbox of my friend's Echo1 AK.

Looks nice and I'd like to see how it compares to the JG BAR 10 I owned a year or so ago. I think it would look great with a Magpul PRS stock (which costs more than the gun itself). As for the whole E1 rebranding debate, E1 claims they went to China and helped factories get up to speed by installing certain parts such as metal bushings. E1 orders a number of guns with these specs, but these companies caught on with which upgrades were being used and decided to upgrade the rest of their guns similarly. So they cut out the middle man (E1 in this case) and sell them as their own, hence the cheaper price but pretty much the same gun. If you want a similar example, look at STAR and ARES. ARES was the company making the guns, but they were distributed under and sold by STAR. ARES decided to do all the work themselves by cutting out the middle man, STAR, and selling their guns under the name ARES.
Wait so Echo 1 is a better version of JG? What about Cyma? Okay a better question for me would be what is the best TACTICAL AK-47 to get within the price range of $150-$250?
Tactical ak! Ahh!
Tactical ak! Ahh!
Don't knock it till you try it.
Selling my recently purchased Echo 1 full metal M4 for a G&G GR-16? Is this a good idea? Or just upgrade the one I have now?
I think a lot of people will vouch for G&G, but I don't know how much upgrades would cost/how much you'd get for the E1, so I do know what to recommend.
Don't knock it till you try it.
I did try it. From pictures I thought it was ugly. In person, I thought it was ugly. It was ridiculously front heavy, uncomfortable, and I couldn't stop thinking about how much I hated trying a tactical AK. Was my friend's. So yes I did try it. And yes I still dislike tactical AKs. I don't see the appeal but apparently lots of other people do, so whatever.
Working one a loadout with Tan armor (Kneepads, vest, helmet, ect) with OD green underneath. Anyone know affordable OD green tops, on Evike or ASGI?
-fail- [editline]02:20PM[/editline]
Don't knock it till you try it.
A AK is like a good woman, it looks better naked then all dressed up.
I don't care about the masks, just about the rest, since my aunt living in Spain is allowed to send me surplus riot facemasks :3:
You lucky son of a bitch!!!
I don't have a tactical AK anymore I dropped it for this smexy beast
I'm having mixed feelings about the gun above, mostly about the wire stock and the fore grip.
I'm having mixed feelings about the gun above, mostly about the wire stock and the fore grip.
It's a little uncomfortable at first then it feels great.
I don't have a tactical AK anymore I dropped it for this smexy beast.
That thing makes me rage.
That thing makes me rage.
Why so fine sir.
The ROE at the local fields state that a pistol that is under 350 (around there) fps may be used under 20 ft. If I got this shotgun: http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=30743 could I use it under 20 ft as well (basically as a sidearm)? It probably depends on the field owner but I was wondering what your opinions are.
I was thinking of getting it to compare with the UTG MK96, though then I thought my cousin from Taiwan plays airsoft since I'm going there to visit over the summer I might not,he might be shipping his guns to the U.S soon because he is moving back or something. Also hence the quotes on the "Collaborate" in my alt's post it is not certain if they actually do that.
Why so fine sir.
Because, young gentleman, that AK is fugly.

Anyone hear anything about the Echo 1 Barrett Rec7's?

looks like someone put a pistol grip backwards
I can't believe anyone actually likes that thing.
God damnit its awesome, its like the most bare bones gun possible. They literally stripped an AK and made it even simpler than it already is, then added a bit of wire as a stock and foregrip so the users hands dont burn. ITS FUCKING COOL AS HELL MAN. Fun wikifact: The foregrip is simply the pistol grip reversed, they are exactly the same part.
The grip looks uncomfortable.
