Sonny sold me his Nerf Force-A-Nature for $10. Thinking of converting it to shoot airsoft bbs. I would need to mod the shells and make it so it pushes air out faster so the bb goes somewhere.
The grip looks uncomfortable.
Surprisingly not if you dont hold it like you would a normal foregrip. If you hold it like you would the magwell/mag of a gun, its actually quite comfortable.
I can't fire from a grip and get good distance, I can fire from the default position and do OK but if I extend the stock some I can use the magwell or default and do REALLY well.
This is just with iron sites though, I don't use any other form of aid as I am too poor to buy some.
Which one should I get? The G&G M16 Tan, or the D-boys SCAR? I am leaning more towards the M16 since it is on stock, but I always loved SCAR-like airsofts.

I only use my sights for the first few shots really, they rest of my shooting is mainly based on adjusting my aim based on where my last burst of BBs went. And I only use optics in CQB. Non-magnifying optics area pretty much useless outside of CQB in airsoft.

The G&G M16 will be a LOT better. The SCAR is discontinued temporarily methinks.

From what I know Dboys makes pretty mediocre guns besides their Kalash series. The G&G is better.
I am not really newbie to airsoft but i am thinking to start it again.
So does anyone know is this any good? http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_218&products_id=28331
It looks so sexy and i just like SCAR much.
AND
Look at 2:32, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mpg8EyDL53s&feature=related
It is so awesome.
Its a G&G so it will probably be pretty great.
AGM scar.
Better than the D-boys.
Aren't CA and VFC the best for SCAR's?
Also, have any of you tried/seen the GHK AK GBBR's in action? Been thinking of grabbing one cause I can get a good deal on it.

I have they're loud and have a tad bit more recoil then a .22
On the topic of SCARs, anyone have opions on gas vs. electric, when it comes to them?
Me and my wishful thinking, trying to decide between ARES and VFC; any good alternatives welcome.
GHK GBBR's are shitty last time i heard, Atleast the first generations
tad bit more recoil then a .22
Uhh, no.
My friend has the AK-74, it definietly doesn't kick as hard as a .22.
All I know is that to me the recoil of a .22 feels like the wind giving me a gentle kiss.

vfc scar is not gas, only the we one is

ARES SCAR isn't known for being durable, consisting of very thin plastic in some areas. Performance is moderate at best.
VFC does NOT make a GBBR SCAR. Only WE makes a GBBR SCAR. Honestly unless you have a shitload of mags for it and are playing CQB only, it's not worth it unless you want it as more of a novelty item.
I saw someone with a WE SCAR at the field, and I would describe it pretty much as that.
Everybody was talking about how cool it was, but the guy using it was at a big disadvantage.

The ARES/STAR SCAR's are crap. My friend paid like $650 for it and it has broken down on him every single game. Save for something a little better.

KJW M4's are awesome but I want something different, reading around most people say that the GHK AK's are pretty decent but you need the steel internal upgrade. Hopefully that doesn't cost more then what it already does.
Go with a Daytona Gun AK. Uses an external air tank, but at least you can use AEG mags. It's the only gas gun I would consider skirmishable.
I've skirmished with a KJW M4 GBBR and its better then most AEG's in terms of range IMO. What do you consider "skirmishable"?

Another question. Do real steel Kobras mount onto Kalash AK's?

Dear god, $950
Looks awesome though. I wonder how well it shoots/how many shots you have per tank
Alot. Seriously. I recommend HPA only not Co2. That way you can use it during the winter and not suffer the cold gun effect

Holy shit. That would cost like $2,000 here.

I need to move to the US...
If I was going to buy a gun that expensive, it would probably be that. Screw high ROF and LiPo batteries, give me a goddamn AK with recoil
I think I know what i'm going to buy now if I get a shit load of money.
vfc scar is not gas, only the we one is
Haha, whoops, must've been thinking of the WE then when I was typing that.
So no gas then and no ARES? Any information on the VFC Full Metal MK17-H then?
But you know what's funny about if I got that gas AK?
I'd probably use low caps anyway! I mean, if you're going to get a gun that acts more realistic, you might as well stay with the trend and use low caps.

At least the mags will be cheaper. 8 lowcaps for $60, or one gas mag for $50-$60? I think we know which is cheaper.
Let's take a look at price between a GHK AK and Daytona Gun AK. Let's say we want 8 lowcap mags with it.
GHK
~$350 for base gun w/ 1 mag
-$50 per extra mag x 7 = $350
~$15 for can of Green gas x Y used per game = $15
Total = $700 +15Y
Daytona Gun
-$950 w/ all the needed hardware
-$40 for 10 STAR AK 30rd lowcaps
Total = $990
So yes GHK may still be cheaper if you have 8 mags, but I think it's really going to come down to quality and durability. I recall somewhere that the GHK was having a lot of misfeeds and some parts would wobble excessively when it shoots.
