Classic guns are pretty god damn cool. I would probably own one if the external hose wasn't a HUGE turn-off for me.
yeah the external hose would make me feel like a paintballer :frown:
Yeah, it'd be really cool if they held gas in like the stock or something.
If a gun can fire 300+ shots on a single charge then I deem it skirmishable, it'll probably never happen though unless you can put an odd enough shaped bottle in a stock.
Stock \ hand guard combo bottles!
what if the bottle was the stock :downs:
Another question. Do real steel Kobras mount onto Kalash AK's?
Anyone know?

or
JG Full Metal / Real Wood Blow Back AKS-74U
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5858
Which one would you guys recommend?
Im leaning towards the D-Boys because it has a lower FPS (Ill be using this for close up), isn't electric blowback (less chance of breaking), is in stock, the externals are not quite as orange, and its steel. Also, its in stock.
D-Boys. Better all around.
Dboys is much better and JG is a TM clone while Dboys is a VFC (VFC is a much design imo)
Seeing as this is the "is this a good idea" thread...
I have a classic army AUG, which has never been upgraded, apart from a madbull tightbore (I saw it going for £5 in a sale).
Last weekend it chrono'd at about 310 and struggled to reach the range some guys were hitting easily.
I'm thinking about getting these upgrades

*TM defender to the rescue!*
VFC is a clone of TM actually. TM designed the V3 gearbox, which VFC AKs use. Same exact design, the VFC is slightly more powerful while the TM is more reliable though.

What if the handguard and the stock were both bottles?

She arrived today. Still haven't fired her because of the fact my battery was delayed by UPS. I'm still trying to get the damn tabs open to place the battery in.

Not the gearbox, Design of the gun. TM design is different then VFC design in taking down guns

What if the whole gun was a bottle?

So like field stripping and such?

What if you had to buy two guns because one was a bottle and the other was the real gun.
Like sling the "bottle" and use the real gun.
:downs:
What if the magazine was the bottle?!
Wait a second...

I see what you did there.
Actually made me laugh out loud a bit.
Would you consider CYMA a good brand? I am considering getting a full metal AKM

Ive had great experiences with their AKs. Quality control has gone up a lot, especially with the V2 guns.

Tough one, but I would go with the G&G personally. Both are really about equal.
I would go with the G&G only because you can upgrade it with normal parts.
In an AEG, I mainly look for accuracy, range, durability, and reliability. I want it to last me for a long while and perform well with minimal upgrading.
