Has anyone owned one of these or knows someone who does? If so what are they like are they any good or should I steer clear of them.
Front heavy. Not good.
I have one. Gonna split this up.
-The metal body is a great plus, it can withstand a lot. Built very solidly. The swivel sling mount is also sturdy.
-The battery that comes with it is OK. It is alright to start out with but it has a pretty slow ROF and doesn't last too long.
-It has very good accuracy for something so small. I can hit people ~75-100 feet away and the BB's don't have a huge spread. (BTW I use .25's)
-The folding stock is a plus too. It is very sturdy and wont wobble around no matter how hard I shake it.
-Takes M4 mags so that is a plus. Oh, it's also light too.
-I plan on upgrading the inner barrel to be longer and getting a barrel extension to hide it. I also plan to get a weaker spring because this thing shoots at 400+. Another upgrade I'm going to do is a new battery.
-Also, the iron sights are kind of hard to look out of so I would recommend an aimpoint.
All in all, I say go for it. I'm extremely satisfied with it.
Ehh judging by the posts you have made that have not offended me to the posts you have made that offend me ratio, I take back my comment saying to fuck off. You seem to know your stuff.
I'm so indecisive, I want a new gun but I just can't decide. I want something with optimal accuracy and range, I like the functionality of an AEG but I appreciate being able to hit my target at long ranges and be precise while doing so.
M4 or AK, or what. What kind of gun is most appealing to you?
M14's are great long range guns. I have a G&G and its great.
greatx2
Speaking of short guns shooting well, I forgot how well my E1 P90 shot before I sold it. Kind wish I hadn't now (G3 in the CQB area of the field :v )
Surprisingly the Kalash AKS-74un has nice range.

Well, thank you. I'm curious as to how I offend you though. To my knowledge I haven't said anything directed at you.
Front heavy. Not good.
To me it doesn't seem front heavy at all, even with the PEQ box. Maybe thats just me.

Also, I'm curious, is this gun any good? The price seems like its too good to be true. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6636&osCsid=rficve0pc1ukkf7b0l0lff6se6

Whitby will swear by it, I will throw it in a wood chipper.
Hmmm because I am in need of a pistol and I want it to be cheap (because I'm bad with money), but reliable too.
hey guys is this a good loadout for me? I can hold alot of stuff

Needs more leg compartments.
Seems pretty functional.
Ahahaha what the fuck
I'm looking for a KWA Glock. Does anyone know if there are any remaining out there or is this gun totally extinct?
Also, are there any other airsoft Glocks out there besides the KWA ones?

Wear another load bearing vest and buy one of those helmet bands so you can carry stuff strapped around your helmet. Also needs more pouches.
He looks like he's carrying a freakin' house
I mean there's even a toilet at the back

I really like the helmet and I have no idea why since it doesn't fit my usual taste.
If he was wearing multicam that would be a pretty good replication of some "operators" at my field.
Looks like a human mule.

The giant guys that have all Multicam gear, their gun is externally 100% Magpul that shoot upwards 30 BPS, have seemingly unlimited ammo (and money), don't use any form of iron sights or optics, spray the shit out of everyone, play every role at the same time, never communicate with anyone except the group they came with, and never run?
Yeah, I know them >:(

Yeah, I know them >:(
I hate those assholes. When they break a rule it's no big deal. But when we do, they flip a shit and yell and scream, even if it is minor. I vow never to be the Multicam asshole.

Multicam sucks anyway.
I like my tiger strip and marpat.
I have a marpat camo vest (yes I know vests look gay in camo but this isn't so bad) and a tiger strip outfit under it, it looks pretty good.

KJW M9. My favorite budget pistol ever.

Do you find it cumbersome and hard to maneuver with? I mostly play in woodland areas, but they're quite dense so maneuverability is something to consider for me. Also, how is the accuracy? Do you get tight groupings? Do you find you can hit targets consistently? And approximately how far is the effective range? I'm looking into purchasing this gun so I want to know.
I was an early adopter of Multicam, back when Tru Spec had just come out with theirs. Proper didn't even have a set for sale yet. For me it was unique, only guy on the field to have it, but now all of those operator assholes have it, as well as stupid kids. Haven't really used mine in the last year or so because of them.
So I've been sticking with Flecktarn and Desert MARPAT, but I'm still looking around for another unique camo.
Ehh Moving more projects away due to lack of funds and ideas.
New idea is to make a musket airsoft rifle.
Idea looks somewhat like this.
"A rod is pushed down the barrel and cocks the spring back into place with a bb below it, the rod would have a small rounded edge to shape over the BB and push it down. The spring would cock back into place and the BB would be trapped by a small clicking lever that when the trigger is pulled would release and the spring would shoot the BB out of the barrel."
Good idea?
How would I go about making this?
I think maybe if I had the time and bought enough wood and metal I could assemble it but I have no funds for it, I am pretty good at wood working and am the best in my woodshop class but the teacher is a asshole grumpy short old fart and would never let me use his tools and wood for this project or any project.
Heh funny thing is, when we studied the civil war in elementary school I made a paper musket that worked right and fired little paper slips like you would fire from a slingshot.
It was pretty strong because I used those wood sticks to keep it from collapsing but pretty useless as far as anything went because my class threw little paper balls for our "battles" and my "musket" was pretty useless, it only had range and accuracy on them and took much longer to reload.
Good idea? Yes.
Practical? No.
Good idea? Yes.

Practicality is not what I am looking for, I think we could start a new era of airsoft matches, maybe we could be better than those old war re-enactors shooting silly blanks.
