if it's 400+ you might want to get a hard bucking.
But I'm getting a weaker spring, or do I still need hard?
If it will be under 400 fps with the spring, then get a soft bucking.

OK, I have another noob-ish question. How do you remove the stock flash hider off a Cyma AK-74 Beta? the spring-loaded tab won't budge, there is no hexagonal screw thing, and the flash hider won't budge, even though I do see threads inside. I tried heating up the tab, and that did nothing. I'd be willing to break the flash hider, just how do you get it off?

LULTELLMEIFISUDBUIDISLULULULULULUL Make your own choices you sheep.
Get off your high horse, this is a thread for newbies to ask questions, not get bitched at by elitist fucks who fail to understand the premise of this thread. Anyway eventual0, those MP44's are pretty nice for chinese guns, but I know Norway is expensive, but that's a ripoff price right there. It should be about 2/3rd's the price. Unless you're a die hard WW2 fanatic, or have an incredible lust for it, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm not going to recommend the "holy grail" of starter AEG's (JG G36C), but I'll just say the best advice I can to anyone looking for an AEG - Go to games, rent or borrow and find what you like best. Sure it costs more, but in the end you'll be far more satisfied with your purchase.
Hmm... Sorry for all the questions but what negative things have been said about them?
Sorry to be a nuicence fragmatic, but I'm still looking at that site. Could you tell me?

And no im not a beginner...I know some stuff although prices and sites not so much. looked at rsov.com it was out of stock there:(

How are WE GBBR M4's? Any of you tried them out or seen them in action?
How are WE GBBR M4's? Any of you tried them out or seen them in action?
Ive tried the WE and the WA. Both are hilariously awesome and actually quite realistic, but sadly impractical for scrimishing.
but sadly impractical for scrimishing.
How so?
How so?
Low capacity and incredibly expensive mags.
Low capacity and incredibly expensive mags.
and they effectiveness is dictated by the weather
Thinking of making a WWII loadout, what would be necessary to have (My gun is going to be the Matrix BAR)?
army? marines? early war? mid war? late war? budget?
I have a question My dad wants to get a sniper rifle and wants to know: What is generally better performance-wise, spring or gas?
I have a question My dad wants to get a sniper rifle and wants to know: What is generally better performance-wise, spring or gas?
Spring would definitely be cheaper and easier to upgrade. Since I'm poor, I'd go with the spring.
I'd rather get spring, because gas will behave differently depending on the weather, and that could throw off your aim.
How exactly can I waterproof my gun so I can use it underwater? AEG that is. A few friends are trying to compose a game with a lot of water and the best thing I can think of is underwater fireing. (Note not the barrel shooting under water, shooting out of water onto land.
Does anyone know where i can get a carl zeiss optic for kar98? looked in a few shops in norway although no one has one. and im not looking for a fully fuctional one, only for show.... And heres a STG44 i found tell me if i should go for it: http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=no&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mamut.net%2Fcontrols%2Fshop%2Fshops%2F12%2F5%2Fproductdet.asp%3Fgid%3D366%26subgid%3D371%26wwwalias%3Dsoftgunweb%26pid%3D4126&sl=no&tl=en Dont worry its translated with google.. so ignore any grammar faults.
That MP44 is good but I don't like the way it disassembles. You have to take out some screws and then the body comes in half. If you aren't a realism fanatic it should be fine though.
I am not a realism fantic. I just want it...:ohdear:
Low capacity and incredibly expensive mags.
Well I have no problem with the low cap mags, I play Milsim. And the expensive mags I'll suck it up. Most people around here game with KJW GBBR M4's.
How did you heat it? I found that hot water did the trick really well for me. Wait a second, the Beta? Secondly, I must assume it screws right out once I get the spring-loaded tab to go down, which it won't. I'll try hot water. Thanks for the advice.

On my Kalash I have a tab as well, you just have to push down really hard on it.
Ductape your battery and it's wires.
Ductape doesn't work too well with water, just saying, but if I go I will take your advice and pass it along for anyone thinking the same.
If you're talking about submerged/semi-submerged guns, you would have to waterproof WAY too much, I think. The motor, gearbox most likely (Water in piston = no air compression :v: ), battery connector, fuse...
This is off topic but I think the V2 of this thread should just be a general question asking thread because not all of us are newbies. Doesn't really matter though.

Just give your gun a good shake and fire, probably don't even need to do that. There's plenty of Youtube videos of people doing this just fine with a stock gun. All you need to worry about is taking apart your gun and drying every piece out, or else some metal parts might rust.
