Just wait for G&G's F2000, then you can decide between the P90 or F2000.
stuck between (model wise) FN P90 and FN F2000. Also considering going a bit mainstream with either a M4 or SCAR 16/17.
Is it the bullpup design you prefer? if not, i'd probably go for an m4. you can get a good one for a reasonable price, and then customize it to what you need. not saying you can with an FN F2000, but may be a little harder. Im going to put a holographic sight on my dragunov, as my optical has broken. think it'll fly or fail?
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_91&products_id=4925
Do they have one with a full stock? I hate the look of a crane stock. Also a 'clean' hand-guard would be nice too. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm looking into it. I was wondering, what would you guys recommend? An interior or an exterior vest?
I've seen horror stories with my friend's JLS F2000.
Oh do tell.
Just wait for G&G's F2000, then you can decide between the P90 or F2000.
Good plan, any ETA on their F2000? As for the brand on the P90 I'm looking into CA and TM, if that makes any difference.
Is it the bullpup design you prefer? if not, i'd probably go for an m4. you can get a good one for a reasonable price, and then customize it to what you need. not saying you can with an FN F2000, but may be a little harder.
True, which is part of the reason I'm considering going with the M4. I'm trying to go carbine, but for the same reasons the bullpup design attracts me (CQB while being able to actually hit something in field).
Oh do tell.
Right, start of the day, my friend connects the battery. He tries to dry-fire it in full auto. The sound the motor made was very tragic. It firing slowly accelerated like a car motor. "Dude, your motor's smoking", I told him. He looks at it and replies "Good". During one of the skirmishes, we had to defend a semi-demolished house from attackers coming from a small forest. They had to cross a low, waist-high, wall and an dirt road. The wall facing them wasn't there so we stayed around the back where we could fire through windows along, corridor and such. I constantly patrolled the back end of the house until, looking through a window, I saw an opponent. I'm not quite sure if he saw me, but he did see the stream of BBs that I fired at him. Maybe I should have used black BBs or fired in semi-auto but I was too excited to see an opponent that I just fired. So I call my friend with the F2000 over. I ask him to try shooting at him. As he fired in full auto, I realized he wasn't really going anywhere. Get this, the BBs were coming out of the barrel and hitting the floor a meter away from where he stood. He was aiming at the guy and didn't realize. He was firing on full auto and a BB came out after every few dry-fired shot. After my group of three friends, including me, had been tagged, he removed the barrel and 50 BBs came rolling out. That was the last time I saw that gun. Another problem with that gun is that the button to release the barrel is too easily accessed and is very likely to be pushed during a game. Putting the barrel back is also quite difficult. So there you have it. Although it could be down to poor ownership rather than the gun. [editline]12:39AM[/editline] WOOH, wall o' text

@Dawg: Hm, any idea of what the brand was? That could have a lot to do with it instead of just the gun, like Ender said, G&G's coming out with one.
It was probably the JLS one... they are know for making some pretty s&*t guns. Dispite this my JLS Rx4 has proven to be quite a reliable little AEG
Ya'know L_dawg, that sounds pretty crappy, but in all fairness, that was just the one gun right? and i've seen pretty big messups with any gun make, design and brand, in fact, the trigger fell off my dragunov the other week, just as i was about to take a good shot, which caused a laugh riot among my team-mates. Point: just the one bad experience can't shadow too dark.
No, I'm pretty sure JLS F2000s in general are bad.
@Dawg: Hm, any idea of what the brand was? My friends live in the dark ages where they still care about the FPS and don't know the brand. When I saw it at his house though, I found out that he used an Ni-Cd battery and didn't have a discharger.
L85A2 anyone? Saw a list of 2010 G&G guns on the asgi forums and the L85 was one of 'em, didn't say which specific one though.
I would love to have an L85A2, but the ICS L86 would be even more awesome. Add the SUSAT scope and you got yourself both a DMR and SAW (minus the drum mag)
Thinking of getting this gun, no reviews. I'm new at this any thoughts? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6548
Looks alright. Should perform the same as any other of their G4 series. Although that so called URX rail they have on it isn't even close in design to the real one. CA did a much better job replicating it.

Those attachments should be compatible with the rails, if that's what you mean.
So my next rifle is either going to be a X-Series Classic Army. (Not so sure, it fits the US Army loadout I have really well and is a pretty decent gun but the only one with a full stock has a long barrel which I'm not sure I like. I need the range anyway though so..) Or a ARES Tavor, this one I need to get a job for and save a bit to get a hold of, but I hear it's a solid, comfortable gun with good range due to it being a bullpup and it just looks slick and takes M4/M16 magazines. The only concern with this is it looks weird with my ACU US Army loadout compared to an M16 or M4 which feels right at home.
Ares tavor! Do it! Now!

I personally say the VFC PEQ-15 is awesome, I use one on my M4 all the time to laze positions to teammates. As for the red dot, it will fit but it's going to sit extremely low on the gun. That sort of sight was really made for competition pistols and as an addon to ACOG scopes for close range reflex shooting. Most of the ones I heard about only worked so-so, with no adjustable brightness and some auto on feature that doesn't work well. There's other options on that site that would prove easier to use.
Thanks for the Insight. I'll look into the sights some more.
I am looking for a field gun, Would the AGM Scars' work? And what kind of silencer will fit?
Anyone have any opinions on this sight? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=36_340&products_id=2348 Has good reviews for the most part. If not can someone recommend a good red dot/holo sight that sits sort of high for up to $70?
I am looking for a field gun, Would the AGM Scars' work? And what kind of silencer will fit?
anything with a 14 mm clockwise thread.
I am looking for a field gun, Would the AGM Scars' work? And what kind of silencer will fit?
AGM guns = good Silencers = pointless in airsoft. (unless you use a gas gun)
So, ASGI says that my anti-reversal lock is stuck and that if I get a higher battery it'll probably fix that problem. Otherwise I can go inside and do it myself, I was going to get a new battery anyway so I'm going to get a smart charger to go with it, but I have something to ask. He says my stock CA M15 can take a 9.6, but that to my understanding is as far as it'll go. (Will it wear my gun down?) http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2934 I was looking at an Intellect 9.6v 3600mAh NiMH Large. It will fit my CA M15 stock but is it a good idea? How long will the battery go before recharging what about the actual lifespan? And what will my ROF be like? I'm pretty sure this is what I'm going to get, it's what they recommended and I trust them. I'm going to get a Super Brain smart charger to go with it; http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_74&products_id=560
