UK laws make him have to use puke green on his gun. Also, get a proper Russian scope for that.
UK laws make him have to use puke green on his gun. Also, get a proper Russian scope for that.
Yeah but as long as he doesn't show it off in public he should be fine.
Yeah but as long as he doesn't show it off in public he should be fine.
no. UK is different.
no. UK is different.
Apparently so.
Anyone know some cheap Hi-Caps for an M4 that will work for CA? I want to buy them in bulk but I want as decent as possible for as low as possible.
I'd imagine most work fine.
Okay, U.K laws say that because i'm only 16, i have to use a two tone gun. If i got a lovely real wood kit, it would then be illegal for me to use and i couldn't use it for skirmishing. I have a scope, i just have a fetish for holographics. does anyone have any idea where i can buy more compact scope mounts then?
This gun looks really nice, but I'm wondering if I could expect it to be reliable or for it to last awhile. I'm also worried about range. http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_218&products_id=32775 [editline]04:32PM[/editline] Barely $200, it seems kind of shady.
That's unhealthy. You shouldn't be able to fap to holographic sights. Figured. I love the look of it, but for something that has upgraded parts, internals, a G&G custom gun for only 200 bucks it seems really shady to me. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
They are probably the cheap knock off Magpul upgrades.
Your correct Fenriswolf, there is a lot of knockoff magpul parts available on the market at the moment. I don't know how good the quality of these knockoffs are so I'd keep my distance just to be safe.

I would go for them just because they are cheap, and if the quality sucks then you didn't waste $200 bucks on a stock, instead you wasted $20 or $40 or however much they are.
Some of it is really shitty. My brother bought like 5 mini PMAGs and they all stopped feeding during the first game.
They are probably the cheap knock off Magpul upgrades.
Watch the video in that link. You can look at them and tell. Whats up with the giant silver Magpul (it looks about the same, I can't tell though if it is, regardless that's not on the genuine Magpul stock) logo on the stock? Why doesn't the MOE handguard say "PTS" next to the logo, just has a circle? The MOE handguard also looks a bit too boxy.
DO NOT BUY STAR P-MAGS EVER! THEY SUCK! The 70-rds are the best out of the group though.

The rifle itself is quite good, I'm impressed with mine. By the looks of it I can confirm the parts are clone magpul parts. They lack the trades I've been accustomed to seeing on my Magpul PTS parts. If they were real parts, it would cost: $140 G&G CM M4 ~$70 PTS CTR stock ~$25 MOE grip ~$30 MOE handguard = ~$265 Not really that much more for genuine Magpul PTS parts.
I know I'm a bit late, but I'd like to point out another thing about two-tones in the UK. The place where I play (and a lot of other sites ) will ban you if you if they catch you with a painted-over two tone. They don't mind two-tones but they don't take kindly to people ignoring the UKARA, which is the only thing keeping them in business. If you don't like a bright green gun, wait and get membership or wrap it up with something. A buddy of mine said "god I hate UKARA" I told him, "No, UKARA is your friend, VCRA is your knee-jerk badly-thought-out Daily-Mail-reading enemy." "Eh?" "The Violent Crimes Reduction Act says 'airsoft guns are realistic imitations and are therefore violent' BAN BAN BAN. UKARA says 'we use them to play a game, please let us play' VCRA says 'meh, ok, just so long as you promise not to rob banks with them'" And then people go around buying two-tones and painting them, basically sticking up two fingers to UKARA. What they should be doing is getting membership, buying guns and playing without breaking any laws, basically sticking up two fingers to the VCRA.

Makes me thank my lucky stars I live in america. Not that Britan is bad or anything, just happy about the airsoft bit.
