Everyone thinks Holmes was just a good-natured detective who wore deer hunter clothes. He never wore the deer hunter clothes, he was an extremely accomplished martial artist, trained in virtually every form of martial arts, and he was an avid cocaine addict. He was a bit of an asshole, but not exactly intentionally. Like in the movie when[sp]He is at dinner and sitting with Mary, analyzing her. He didn't continue because he wanted to offend her, its because he couldn't stop himself, and you can see the sadness in his eyes after they leave.[/sp]He constantly analyzed the world around him, which made it impossible for him to stop until he couldn't continue. The movie very closely followed the stories.
Holmes was described as clean shaven in the stories, wasn't he? Why would they give him that stubble? Because it looks like an action movie that's why. At least they did Dr. Watson perfectly. (I'm basing this off of the previews I haven't seen the movie yet)
sherlocks holmes isnt supposed to be adventerous and shit, its supposed to be all like "immah search this place and find out shit" and then he goes after clues. whats with him fighting people with swords and shit
& here we see someone who's only experience with holmes is seeing the cartoony motherfucker that has the hugeass pipe and the cute hat the movie was great. Absolutely loved the boxing scene
Absolutely loved the boxing scene
My dad's mate was the prize fighter in the ring. The one who gets beaten up in slow mo. He's a stuntman, and he is awesome. Also, I really enjoyed the film. I think Robert Downey Jnr's acting was excellent.
Isn't it a Guy Ritchie film?
