It works like that.
I was about to post a big long explanation of how wormholes work, but you just summed it all up in a picture. Thank you for saving me a bunch of time.
Fair point, that was a minor slip up on my part.
But still you don't get a mass of gravity.
er, no, that was a major slip
If time travel was possible, Someone would have been back to tell us by now...
Worm holes=/=black holes
Black holes=certain death
Rather than spew out countless pages of "Theory" from a bunch of teenagers, how about we just say: "We don't fucking know yet".
That's a pretty crappy idea for a thread, if you ask me.
anything is possible
k i guess ill just eat a house

White holes=crackers.
If anything is possible, then it's possible for something to be impossible.
(Rate me late because Socrates figured this out 2,600 years ago)
Yes, they exists. Your girlfriend (If you have one) has a worm hole, just stick your worm into it, and you can travel anywhere.
Black holes are leaning pretty much towards fact. Just cause you can't see them, doesn't mean they aren't there!
We found one though...
We found one though...
Indeed.
They are possible, but the chances of one forming naturally are incredibly slim. Maybe one day in the distant future they could be created artificialy.
You just gotta watch out for the ones that lead to star systems full of an extinct civilisations defence drones... Fuck sleepers!
Also makes me think that a black hole caused the Big Bang. Over billions of years the gravitational pull of a black hole consumed the entire universe, then after having compacted so much energy it imploded into a new universe.
Theoretically speaking.
Troll.
God is leaning pretty much towards fact. Just cause you can't see him, doesn't mean he isn't there!
your argument in a nutshell
Isn't a wormhole kinda like a black hole with like antigravity material inside to pull the singularity apart?
That's one model. I was just thinking we might find some way of traveling through nine-dimensional space, we could just take shortcuts without the use of such an anomaly.
Anomaly? Is that how it's spelled?

Not really theory, more like conjecture. Seeing as how you can't figure out what the shit happened before the big bang.
Was there TIME before the big bang? I thought there wasn't.

that looks like a big overdone egg to me.
anyway, all of this black hole business and wormholes is all completely theory, but that doesn't mean its not real. also, time isnt.....hmm dunno how to phrase it, but time is just our way of keeping track of things, so technically time doesnt exist. so who knows, maybe time travel might one day be possible! but wel just have to wait and see, also i agree with whoever said that someone would probably have come back to tell us.
Black holes definitely exist, man.
It's the only explanation for how fast the structures near the center of the milky way are moving.
your argument in a nutshell
Ya. :catholic:
You have such a basic understanding of the universe if any at all...
I bet you think time travel is possible.
I bet you think time travel is possible.

It is possible. I'm doing it right now.
At the rate of
1ss^-1
or
One second, per second.
it all makes sense now

it could be any number of things, we dont know for sure, it oculd just be a rock with a stupidly huge mass in a small area producing a huge gravitational pull. we just dont know, as i said its all based upon theory, the big bang for example, theory.
A rock that's so big that it doesn't allow light to escape.
Which would technically be a black hole.
It's possible, however finding a worm hole (theres none in our galaxy) would require hundreds of years of travel.
Hundreds? The nearest galaxy is Andromeda, which would take 2.5 million years to get to if we traveled at the speed of light.
I bet you think time travel is possible.
:tinfoil:
Time travel is completely possible, it doesnt violate the laws of physics in any way.
Hundreds? The nearest galaxy is Andromeda, which would take 2.5 million years to get to if we traveled at the speed of light.
We don't even have the technology yet.
^No kidding.
