new mini business card and camera identifier [img_thumb]http://ploader.net/files/82e1bc9c8e5501bfbf3250886dbb23ab.JPG[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://ploader.net/files/c1ca95cc2515423103dcf123e6e1ec9e.JPG[/img_thumb] also this desk makes for slick underlighting I ordered a rubber eye cup for this camera, I'm starting to use it a lot and the metal rim is rubbin' my glasses the wrong way. Got the adapter so I can transfer the circular eye cup to the D7000 if I'm feelin' retro
thats a nice idea but hardly anyone will actully understand it
what's hard to understand about a name and a contact info on a piece of card? I only ever hand them to people I've talked with, so it isn't like they're left to guess what service it's for.
the metal rim is rubbin' my glasses the wrong way.
that makes me cringe
my humble camera collection. back to front: - A pretty sweet pair of Nikon binoculars - Agfa Clack (120 mm/modded for 35 mm) - Agfa Click II (120 mm/modded for 35 mm) - Kodak Instamatic 133 X (126 cartridge) - (brandless) Instaload camera (126 cartridge) - (broken viewfinder/flash) Halina Roy (47mm) - Ricoh XR 500 (35mm, also my main photo camera) not pictured: - Unomat B24 auto flash (my only decent flash) - Sony HDR-SR10 (main video camera) - Canon A3000 IS (which the picture was taken with) so basically, hipster as fuck, i had the Click II's (the one just peeking up from the right back corner) film developed a week ago and got some real cool stuff out of it. all kinds of double exposures and light leaks, pretty cool.
Don't feel like taking a picture right now but basically. Lowepro Slingshow 100 AW bag, which I love Sigma 70- 300mm lens 50mm 1.8 prime lens Usual 18-55mm lens And the usual filters and spare memory cards, just ordered a new 8gb class 10 card.
Hows the Sigma 70-300? Is it 4-5.6?
Got my nifty fifty in the mail today. Obligatory picture with it at f1.8 should have stepped down
awesome, my auction to sell my 400d kit is up to $405 now. I didn't even think it would go much past $200. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250809566971 still 1 hour left.
I'd bump it up a couple for ya but knowing my luck I'd end up having to buy it :P
Haha it's all good, it went way beyond my expectations anyway. I only needed 200. cheers for the generous offer :respek: [editline]4th May 2011[/editline] ended at $496
You're saving for a 7D correct? Edit: Down below: I think its $496 Australian.
Woah $496 for a 400D and a kit lens? You can almost get a brand new 500D for that amount of cash. That's a win for you :v: [editline]4th May 2011[/editline] Oh shit it's in Australian dollars too. Even more of a win.
Hows the Sigma 70-300? Is it 4-5.6?
Yeah its the 4-5.6. I really like it, it can overexpose and wash things out on some occasions but it's a very very good lens for the price and I'd recommend it.
I continually regret getting a 60D when I had an E-500.
olympus E-500 but lens choices mang
Found a used Pentax K-x for 270 pounds not sure if lenses come with, but i think they do should i go for it wow double post
550ddddddddddddd
But wait It gets better I just found a used Nikon D5000 for the amazing price of 487 sterling pounds That's the same as a new 1000D in Iceland and is obviously much better quality I think I'll go for that edit: comes with kit lens aswell
Well, it was the choice between new lens or new monitor(s). Chose monitor(s). http://www.facepunch.com/threads/943794-Post-your-desk-v.-5?p=29615517&viewfull=1#post29615517 I tell you, it's incredible for LR - one screen shows full size working image, other screen shows controls.
So I just bought the D5000 His original price was 90.000 ISK (487 pounds) but we managed to get it for 80.000 ISK (433 pounds) Success!
Oh and yes MisterM they are ultrasharps ;)

So I wouldn't call that the best deal ever.

I would have gotten the k-x, that would have been a good deal.
I would have gotten the k-x, that would have been a good deal.
It's just that it uses 4 AAA batteries and I didn't really like the idea The D5000 was also in better condition apparently seeing as the guy said he bought it maybe only 5-6 months ago
Yeah, but if you get the lithium rechargeable batteries, they're rated at ~1200 shots before you have to recharge. I like pentax. When I buy my own camera (hopefully soon, as I just got a job that pays well), I'm getting the Pentax K-5.
Oh fuck yeah, is your camera as sexy/cool as this?
You're saving for a 7D correct? Edit: Down below: I think its $496 Australian.
yeah, only $350 to go.
