my OM-1 should be arriving in a few days hopefully, now i just need to find a lens for it. the zuiko 50 1.4 looks good, though expensive D:
also thinking of getting a tamron 17-50 2.8 for my 450d
I got that one, AF sounds like a angry bee, but other than that, it's lovely :D
I fucking hate you're/your used incorrectly I don't even know why.
It's just so annoying.
I hate it more when someone says 'good' instead of 'well'.
"I can't ride my bike downhill very good." vs "I can't ride my bike downhill very well."

what about "I'm not too good at riding my bike downhill"
wait why is going downhill on a bike hard, unless it's a matter of stopping in which case get your brakes fixed :v:
You seem to forget who you're talking to
What's the point of no brakes?
Brakes aren't hip enough for Bopie.
coz putting brakes on your bike is like putting brakes on your c0oOlnEss_~ bro

zuiko 50 f/1.4 = acquired
hell yeah
D3000, 18-55 VR and SB700 are getting sent home to me tomorrow, along with a Tamron 17-50 2.8 separately.
D3000 + 18-55 VR going up on ebay, £230 sound good for good condition and just refurbed?
Parties aren't the safest place for a 5D2

My D5 mark II is the best camera ever!

Are long exposures bad for the camera?
Since last night when i was taking my pictures it was open (total of 27 pictures) for 53.86 minutes
Everything works perfectly fine though, just wondering.
Long exposure noise

500~ exposure
Sensor artifacting from overheating I guess?
Yeah p'much. The corners are because of some uneven heating, looks bad on D80s
So I've decided that Nikon's ViewNX2 software is officially god-awful primarily because it's so damned slow, and while it's decent for quick edits it lacks any control in anything more refined. Does anyone have some suggestions for some affordable editing software that will actually give decently quick feedback and have proper controls for things like curves, recovery, fill light, individual color saturation etc.?
Also it has to work with the D3100's NEF codec, which is slightly newer than others and apparently doesn't get along well with a lot of programs?
d3100 - a camera raw update will appear if it hasn't already

yeh, just hot pixels from overuse. There's lots of complaints about the D7000 doing that with video, I freaked out when it first happened to me and packed it all into its original box feeling raped because I just bought it the day before, and was gonna go back to the one best buy that hopefully still had stock, like an hour away.
Frame grab from a RED EPIC M digital cinema camera at 96FPS.
