Here's an idea, stop trying to troll threads outside of the OIFY. You aren't affecting anyone.
except you?
I've done a few games with my friends that can be called "backyard skirmishes" if you consider a decent chunk of land surrounded by a whole lot of nothing a "backyard". Apparently because I and everyone there didn't have to pay 50$ to use that land that day we are all the scum of the earth within the airsoft community and to be shunned. Also my "gear" has no specific loadout. It's a mix and match of the stuff I'm most comfortable with. DOUBLE-SHUNNNNN!. There was that one time we had a small game at one of my friend's houses, but he does it all the time and all of his neighbors are totally cool with it.
It's like with every hobby there's always going to be elitist pricks that think they're better because of some mundane reason.
except you?
Not particularly. Just saying that trolling outside of OIFY gets you nowhere.
Not particularly. Just saying that trolling outside of OIFY gets you nowhere.
ok thx for the info
What's some good starter shit that isn't going to cost me 150$
Make it more public yess.. [editline]08:44AM[/editline]
What's some good starter shit that isn't going to cost me 150$
Springers from wallmart? have you tried airsoftGI?
Yay I'm so happy I live in australia and these are classified as class-A weapons. :bang:
Don't forget to mention mouth protection. I would think a balaclava would do fine. You can shatter teach if some dumb ass sprays you from only a few feet away. Also, mesh masks have found to be completely safe. I haven't heard of any stories of BB's actually shattering, so far it's been a myth.
Yay I'm so happy I live in australia and these are classified as class-A weapons. :bang:
Only cause some twat got shot in the eye and sued. As the OP said, wear some fucking goggles.
Anyone got info on the laws on Airsoft in the UK? I find them to be confusing.
Only cause some twat got shot in the eye and sued. As the OP said, wear some fucking goggles.
Yeah. I read some story about a kid who was playing with them and he got shot in the eye. It went into his brain and he died... But since no one cared, it never hit news i guess. Airsoft forum still exsists. http://www.facepunch.com/forumdisplay.php?f=305
OP you forgot about c-mags (the ones with around 3000 rounds)
I have a TM p90 and a JB Bar 10, both do their jobs very well. Airsoft is great.
My semi auto pistol just broke down after me trying to fix it(Gas, could only get a few shots out(like 3, 12 round mag) before it running out of gas, can anyone recommend a good one?(Don't care what type it is as long as it shoots far, would prefer a sniper) Also on the subject of snipers, can anyone recommend some nice cheap ones? (Would prefer an svd model since I've fired a real one of those and love the sights)
OP you forgot about c-mags (the ones with around 3000 rounds)
I love C-mags. They look awesome.
OP you forgot about c-mags (the ones with around 3000 rounds)
same as box mags, both hold in the thousands
I play airsoft, got my ordered P90 yesterday with an extra mag. Hoping to add an extended barrel with some sights and stuff.
I'd like to see a P90 with an extended barrel. Should look quite cool.
Going airsofting for the first time on the 19th. Sounds like great fun.
Im having a night game tomorrow from 7pm - 1am in an abandoned town. Hopefully it wont get cancelled like the last night game I was meant to go to.
Any decent British sites? I can't find any that don't exclusively sell shitty bright orange guns.
Also add Airsoft Megastore to the list of websites.

BBC
That is an air gun, which is completely different from an airsoft gun. Airsoft in Scotland is seriously under threat at the moment. The SNP Secretary for Justice is trying to wage a crusade against air guns, and makes no distinction against air guns, which can be deadly and airsoft guns that are harmless with eye protection. Scotland has a huge and quality airsoft community, and they are trying to defend the sport. The SNP need to be made aware of the difference between airsoft and air guns. [editline]02:32PM[/editline] Oh, and, incase you are English and don't give a shit, who do you think is going to be next after Westminster follows the "good example" up North.
Any decent British sites? Hey guys, lets post some more stuff! I don't want to lose this thread!
I'd fucking love to have WWII Axis weapons in airsoft. From Bolt Actions to Machine guns.
I'd fucking love to have WWII Axis weapons in airsoft. From Bolt Actions to Machine guns.
Airsoft Mosin Nagant :gizz: I would love that.
I was forced out of my hobby that i barely began. I live in Philadelphia PA. I live on the very outskirts of it, so, according to my inner city school friends, i live in the rich neighborhood. (it really isn't). But since i live in Pennsylvania it's incredibly wooded. You'd think there would be a lot of fields around. WRONG. So i had to start breaking laws to play but i ran into a few problems. The only people i knew that also airsofted.....bought their guns at kmart. I bought mine online. My crown beauty a TM 1911 gbb. I love this gun. Anyway. So in order to play we had to do it deep in the woods. All ready playing with these idiots wasn't fun at all. NONE of them had protection. I had minimal, it was a mixture of i didn't have it, i didn't need it because their guns just sucked. So i had a holster, backup clips, goggles, and i wore heavy clothing. So when we first started playing they realized i paid more than 10$ for my gun, they freaked out and refused to let me use it, mostly because NONE OF THEM WEAR ANY FUCKING PROTECTION. So after a bit they stopped inviting me because my gun was better and they were afraid of getting hit. One day they got arrested. Turns out a local horse farm owns essentially 90% of the woods that we used to play in. They didn't invite me that day so i didn't get arrested. Thank god because my gun uses greengas/propane. (yes i know propane can potentially damage my gun but i maintenance it constantly.) and i'd be arrested and my gun confiscated. So the owners saw them one day and called the cops. Now they patrol the area for illegal games and drinking. TL;DR [bawww] there isn't a field within 100 miles of where i live and i can't play in the woods illegally [/baww] well that's not 100% true there are a few paintball fields. but i asked, no airsofting fields. that hasn't stopped my interest. I can still at least shoot target in my yard, i made somewhat of a range. And i'm in the market for shotgun, so i'm browsing around. and i know alot of you probably were shouting at me about the protection. But after knowing that i really can't play near me i never bothered to sink my money into proper gear. So my protection right now is just a ski mask, heavy clothing and eye ware.
