I guess the notion of consulting your parents about a car couldn't have crossed your mind anyways. The bridge is out. Literally and figuratively.
I have, we don't have money right now which is why I need a part time job to save up for a car.
Aren't 55cc motors for kindergarten?
No indeed. They're also for brusque nerds who are too lazy to walk 10 miles. Now, I may be a nerd, but i can certainly handle 10 miles. OP should also consider getting a bike. Biking isn't nearly as strenuous as walking.
My Neighbor has a bright orange motor scooter like the one from Fooly Cooly ,and it's a pretty epic transportation vehicle. I say go for it.
Walking 10 miles during the day is one thing, walking 10 miles uphill early in the morning to get to work only to be on your feet all day and then walk home is another thing. And you clearly haven't biked uphill, even in a low gear it isn't less strenuous then walking.
Not for me. I've walked and biked roughly 12 miles to a friends house and have found it to be less strenuous every time on a bike. I must concede, uphill is far worse but it should still be endurable.
Tell me, what did you do at your friends house, what time did you leave to go there? I'd bet that you sat around most of the time, not get there and walk around helping people for a few hours, and that you left midday, not between 7 and 8am.
No. As a matter of fact, my friends and I do a lot of walking, so i'm sure the level of exercise equates with whatever hack job you're going to have to do. True we are into gaming and film, but that's not all we do.
Get a supermoto/dualsport bike. Used WR250X SM? You'd be set.
Get a scooter and just dont tell anyone, i only use mine for work and most people dont know i have one
Even people in shape don't want to bike uphill for ~10 miles and then work all day. Don't even think about suggesting walking, because then I'd have to leave before it's even bright out.
it's called first gear, and people in less-than good shape, such as myself, ride uphill each day, to and fro, for at least 5 kilometres each way. toughen up and get some fresh air, you'll be doing good for yourself, your pocket and the planet by getting a plain' ol' bike. as if it's 10 miles stop exaggerating, you'll have a good downhill on the way home.
I have a 50cc scooter, prepare to be attacked by every single other motorist out there. They will hate you.
Riding a moped is like fucking a fat chick. It's fun till your friends see you.
It all depends on what country your in
You're
Get one if you want to save up on gas and are a stable driver and drive on a set path that's what I did on my scooter On the weekends I drive this through the forest :3 But I want to buy a professional Honda or suzuki forest/moutain bike. [editline]09:08PM[/editline]
These are so sexy. OP, get one of these instead of a scooter.
yes a 20k rpm angle grinder will use almost no gas :downs:
You guys are forgetting that I'm doing because because I can't afford a car, not because I don't want one. Telling me to get ones that are expensive and use more gas won't help.

Just get a 125, or can't you get that yet?
