Well, it's not a meme for starters.
When you buy a new pair of boots you need to walk in them a while before the leather softens up. During that period it's a good idea to put medical tape on your feet so they don't blister.

Walk around in your boots for a bit so they can adjust to your feet before using them intensively, otherwise you end up with what that guy has. I never imagined anybody not knowing about it cause it's such common sense here. :v:
