this image and sentiment seems kind of pretentious and dangerously close-minded to me, to be honest
i don't think it's anyone's place to judge who's actually depressed and who isn't because they're annoyed by repetitive internet humor. When you're depressed you want to talk and whine about it because you want others to understand what you're going through, to not be alone - Owlturd got moderate success by doing so, so I don't know if I can blame him even if I don't like his content anymore.
Let me tell you from experience, it's pretty infuriating to be accused of faking mental illness just because it was a meme to say "i'm so ocd" for a little while. I'm sure there are a lot of ridiculous people who don't properly understand mental illness and trivialize it for jokes, but I think going so far as to state that [I]80 fucking percent[/I] of people who depression-shitpost are fakers is some serious bullshit and all that line of thinking is going to get you is one of those stupid small-scale internet witch-hunts where nobody can make any sort of depression-based joke for a few months without them getting dog-piled because shitting on the original meme has become a meme in itself.
I'm really not fond of the idea of calling strangers out as fake-depressed-people because you don't like their internet memes.

In a recent thread about NDT on here in quick succession a guy posted an account from reddit of him being a condescending asshole when the poster's small science club paid a shitload of money to get him to appear at their school - and then like two posts down, another guy says his dad that worked with NDT had nothing but nice things to say about him.
