Car/Driving related things that annoy the piss out of you

People in 2 litre diesel repmobiles (black, grey or silver Audis, VWs and BMWs) who think just because they have a bit of torque they are Sebastian Vettel and must sit on your bumper on the motorway even if you have nowhere to go because their ecomobile is a fucking rocket, try to undertake you, get nowhere so move back behind about 6 inches from your bumper. I literally want to fucking kill them.
Cyclists... Get the fuck off my roads! You're always in the way, you should be riding near the kerb, not in the middle of the fucking road and if you MUST use the road then start obeying the fucking rules and stop at red lights because I'm sick of braking for you wankers, next time I'm speeding up if you decide to run a red and get in my way!
45mph drivers. People who drive 45mph absolutely every-fucking-where. Even on the back roads where it's nice and clear, perfectly straight and safe they decide to sit at 45mph, then they all bunch up and stick to 45mph. You get 5 cars all doing 45mph and nobody fucking over takes meaning I struggle to get past a pack of 5 cars. Get aids!
Road warriors, you know the type. The kind of fuck stick that will purposely cut you up just because you had the ordacity to overtake them a few miles back, who think they are king of the road so there's no fucking way they will let you in, they'll even close a gap to prevent people pulling out. Who speed up when you go to overtake them because they were driving 45 in a 60. I'll shit through their letterboxes!
Quite a few people piss me off on the roads.
Birds. A couple minutes ago I went out to my car to get something and, lo and behold, there was a line of bird shit strewn right in the middle of my windshield. I don't think I've ever been so angry at an animal before
Rolling back when you stop on a hill isn't unavoidable in a manual. I hardly ever roll back on a hill.
Plus pretty much all new cars have a thing that stops you from rolling back if it's a manual.

In my car (I was a passenger at the time) we were doing 60 with the windows down.
A pigeon few into windowless door frame.
Feathers all across my car door held together with its blood and spattered pigeon guts all on my interior roof. :/
Birds!

my auto wk2 has that too. and my sister 08 auto kk.
i dont roll back except to try and scare people
my daily is a 81 toyota 4wd 4.88 gears and 31's it geared so low. 1st gear redline is 22mph.
sam. sounds angry.
Oh that's right.
My car is far from new. It was designed in 1988.

I get my inspiration from this guy:
my auto wk2 has that too. and my sister 08 auto kk.
As Brad said, all autos do. The torque converter is CONSTANTLY trying to push the car along, and this is almost always enough to negate any backwards rolling a typical hill start would generate. I've only been in one automatic vehicle that didn't creep, and it had a 3800 stall drag racing converter in it. My mom's van was so bad about it you had to jam on the brakes pretty hard just to get it stopped in the first place, either that or kick it into neutral and back into D when you got stopped. Left to it's own devices it creeped bad enough to engage second gear...and that's with a sensible idle of 750RPM. Dodge must have put a 1400 stall converter in that thing or something.
Her Explorer isn't that bad about creeping, but it doesn't roll back either.
As for the automatic brake thingy some modern MT vehicles have with...eeeh. I'm not sure about it. I could see it being useful on a heavily laden pickup truck or something. But I'm not sure daily drivers really need it, average cars pretty universally have hand-operated parking brakes which makes the e-brake trick so piss easy anyone can do it.

Lol. My dad's '84 F150 will do a whopping six MPH in first gear, and that's with the engine screaming along so fast the valves are dancing around on the hood. We don't even use first unless we're doing a hill start with some asshat right up our chuff, towing something, or on a slippery surface.
10mph in 1st in my f250
screaming along digging out all four tires
fuck yeah murrica
Somewhere I have both gear ratios for my cars calculated

52mph in first on my Civic, 103 in 2nd
CRX is "slower" but has shortass gears... And actually probably is slower lol
NoT all autos have the hill assist my 07 Camry se and 97 Lexus es300 would roll back a lot.
The jeep lock up the brakes even the brake lights stay on for five seconds after you let off.

They must have rather high stall converters in 'em then. I've been in one that didn't hold itself on hills, and it had a 3800 stall converter in it. The others all have <2000 stall converters, all creep along, and none roll back. None of them have any 'hill assist' modules installed, as none of them need one.
Matter of fact, you may be due for fluid changes in those automatics. They shouldn't be rolling back much at all.
I find it extremely annoying when I'm going to pull out onto a major road and there's an oncoming car. I naturally stop and wait for the car to pass. The car travels at a normal speed until the last possible second, and, without any signalling whatsoever, turns onto the road I'm coming off of. This pisses me off like nothing else, as it's a complete waste of my time. I agree that there are times when signalling when turning isn't particularly necessary, but people who do this to others need to rot. In. Hell.
I also hate ridiculously high turning radii on compact cars. my mom's 2009 Chevy Cobalt has a larger turning radius than my brother's 92 Blazer. Wtf.

My pontiac is the only vehicle in my driveway that cant turn around 360 in my driveway
my dads fucking long bed f250 can, my moms acura, the 2 hondas, but no the pontiac just herp derps into the bushes
>People going excessively fast in a School Zone, especially during busy hours (School Beginning/School Ending)
It's a goddamn school. Kids will cross the street. Jesus christ.
>People who pull right out in front of you so you slam on the brakes. They then proceed to drive
either A: Extremely Slow or B: Repeatedly keep signalling to turn and stopping then realizing it's the wrong turn and keep going.
It's happened to me multiple times.
>People who are inconsiderate of other cars.
My Corolla was hit by someone spray-painting near it. Speckles of White Paint all over the door. What the fuck. I've also been repeatedly seeing people lately backing into cars, setting off the alarm, and driving off.
>Asshole Neighbors
Parked my Corolla (when I owned it) in front of a lady's house just up from mine because a house party down the block had taken up all the parking. She came outside and complained "Oh sorry, am I in your parking spot?" and all she said was "No, I just don't like looking at it!" She not only insulted my car, but was flat-out rude and had no valid excuse that I couldn't park on the street.
>Dumbass Drivers
General dumbassery. From cutting off my right-turn during their left turn (How the fuck?) to forcing me onto the sidewalk (The guy was literally about to drive into my truck.) Too many incidents to list.
People who ask you whats the fastest you've gone, you tell them then they call bullshit and you proceed to show them pictures or videos of the speedo and convieniently they have gone 20+MPH faster than you-of course with no proof.

To be fair, if you're completely unfamiliar with the area and you don't have money to spend on a fancy GPS system, this can be a common occurrence. I typically have low tolerance for complete idiocy on the road, but I can at least sympathize with people who do this most of the time. If someone's familiar with the area and just aren't paying attention, They need to be removed.

Yes, but you shouldn't stop for every single damn turn. Maybe slow down, but there are road signs for a reason. I don't have perfect vision and I can still read road signs without glasses. I don't mean people that are lost and are slowing down to read road signs, I mean people literally stopping to turn and then being like OH WAIT THIS SIGN DOES NOT SAY THE ROAD IM LOOKING FOR
And I find that Google Maps + Memory tends to work more than my GPS anyways.
Roundabouts in my town. There's 4 of them, 2 of them right across from the senior citizens center. They have NO IDEA how these things work.
Left turns in general, North America will never learn

are you one of those fucktards that thinks its stupid that they make roads go straight through valleys instead of making them have pointless turns?

Where the fuck did you infer this from?
I'm talking about the lack of roundabouts. They're far more efficient in terms of minimizing traffic delays at busy intersections. There's a reason Europe uses them.
You can disagree that we need roundabouts, but I don't see how you can disagree with me on disliking waiting forever during rush hour to make a left turn because there's a million people in front of you waiting.

Two lanes on each side. (Also applies to one lane as well as three lanes on each side, simply using this as an example.) Two way turn lane in the center.
Assholes that don't fucking use the turn lane. IE, flip on their blinker half a block ahead of time, slow down to 5 MPH, and RIGHT WHEN THEY HIT THE DRIVE FOR THEIR TURN, THEN they get into the turn lane, and even then stay half way inside the closest lane before turning.
THE FUCKING TURN LANE IS THERE FOR A REASON, USE THE GODDAMN THING AND GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!
I seriously have to get into the other lane to pass these inbred fucks AT LEAST once a day just to avoid having to stop in the middle of the street because this fucker is too goddamn stupid to get all the way in the damn lane ahead of time, like you're supposed to

These things. They are the most brilliant invention ever, and the drivers around here are too FUCKING STUPID TO USE THEM. It's simply infuriating, you don't even know until its happened to you...

You're forgetting most intersections have incredibly short turnlanes and short lasting left signals which means 5 cars max get through
You're forgetting most intersections have incredibly short turnlanes and short lasting left signals which means 5 cars max get through
Where the hell are you from?
That is not how it operates here. Plenty of time for turning as they are operated by visual or magnetic weight sensors which allow traffic to thin out in one area so they can alleviate another area. Very smooth system, traffic here is never terrible. But we do have idiot drivers -- everywhere does.
Here in YO our traffic signals are acutally getting redone. Alot of our lights on main streets that have little side streets that rarely anyone comes down now are done by weight or magnetic sensor etc. Allows that car to go then literally 5 seconds after the weight or sense is gone completely it then lets the main street go through. They are also redoing the turn lights and green lights so that traffic flows so much better instead of green light to a straight red light.
Yeah, sensors are the way to go. Fuck roundabouts. Only good for drifting the fuck out of when no one is around.
