Car/Driving related things that annoy the piss out of you

Different buyers demand different things. The people who grew up in with the 90's one are now parents that want something large and safe.
My pet peeve is people who don't even go the speed limit on a 2 lane road.
There is this one I usually travel with 45mph posted speed limit I usually go 50 in, and I end up every once in awhile behind someone completely oblivious to what is going on going 40 or even 35.
Not only are you annoying me, but everyone else behind me that is wanting to go somewhere.
One time I was behind one of them for about 5 miles going 40mph, and by 3 miles, I lost my patience, so I found out how close I could get to the back of their car, at least it got him to pull over.
Also these dumbass american drivers can't figure out simple roundabouts. People think it's a fucking stop sign and some have no idea about the right of way. Drives me insane.
In the car section, FF layouts make me rage.
And people who go the wrong way on roundabouts just to save half a second. Probably an America only phenomenon.

large =/= safe
That's one thing I hate about soccer mom logic: if it isn't the size of a small moon, it isn't safe.

I'd rather be rear ended in an escalade than a smart car

Well yeah, I didn't mean small is safe.

I know, but the new Explorer is both large and safe, compared to the first gen which was small and pretty unsafe (todays standards).

By far, the latest model is an improvement over the 1st gen. Although I'm sure size doesn't have a lot to do with it, its just that safety standards for cars as a whole have improved tenfold in 20 years. Well maybe the fact that its almost a foot wider, since the 1st gens were prone to rolling.
The ridiculously high price of petrol in Europe. While in countries like France of Germany it's not a big deal, I live in Poland and it definitely is a problem.

Here in Belgium it's about 1,8 euro/liter, for you americans, that would be about 9 dollars/gallon. What's the price right now in America? Yeah.
Just hit 5 in Alaska
People who turn the parking lane of the street into a third lane, fuck off when everyone now has to merge past the light into the two lanes you managed to fuck everyone behind you.

Netherlands $2,42/€1,82 a liter, or $9,16 a gallon, just a tad higher.
It's about $3.50 here in Michigan. I thought it was expensive here.
Gas is expensive in Europe 'cus it's not low-ass octane gas.
Over here in 'Murrica we get some strange mixture of gas, arab semen, and hippy tears.
I feel like it's thieving to be sold 87 octane at 5,20 a gal :(
It pisses me off when people drive 20mph under the speed limit.
Prices average between 3.99 to 4.23 here. The fucking shitty part is that alot of places charge .10 cents more for using a card (Even debit).
My 76 and sunoco in yonkers (Both across from each other)
76 - 4.09
Sunoco - 4.10
Both don't charge extra
Mobil on other side of town - 3.99
But they charge 10 cents more for credit.
A hess in the next town (Only a few blocks away from me though) is 4.03 and charge nothing extra for credit, but I Prefer 76.
The price in Europe has next to nothing to do with the octane rating. They simply tax the living fuck out of it for some reason. Their governments even go as far as to put a tax on the tax they put on the gas itself.
Gasoline is roughly a dollar a gallon by default. That's all it costs to pull it out of the ground, refine it, ship it, store it and dispense it. Add in another 50-75 cents per gallon to cover operating costs and profit margins at the gas station itself, and you've found the base price for gas. Piss cheap, really. The reason we pay as much as we do is a mixture of taxation and price gouging.

Yeah, here in the Netherlands 64% of the price is taxes, and that's excluding the "kwartje van kok" which means another €0,113 per litre extra.
I hate it when you remove your engine/trans and you can't drive the car anymore :(
People who throw cig butts out the window.
One about hit me on the bike today. Felt like stopping picking it up and growing it their window.
My98 taco had a stock gas door was locking. It was the same key as the ing key. But never did visit a full service station. My 81 Toyota 4wd has a locking cap and it located on the pass side. Kinda annoying it would be.
