I agree, I really don't want this show to go. I enjoy every episode and once the season is out I will get it. Although is it too late? Will getting it make a difference or has fox already made their mind up?
Remember, this is still speculation, but it is well-founded speculation. Maybe we can start one of those online petitions to peak Fox's interest and go on from there buying stuff having to do with Fringe, really any merchandise would do, especially if Fox makes it. The point is to show that we will spend money on it. Although, after a quick Google, it looks like there is no official merchandise. Oh, well, I'm still buying season 1 on Blu-Ray when I get the chance.
Yeah but getting the DVDs won't help, since Fringe is a Warner Bros production, therefore WB would get all the DVD money, while Fox relies entirely on ad revenue.
If we want to save Fringe, the ratings must improve drastically, it's sad but true.
There's a very low probability that the show will be cancelled.

I hope you're right :smith:.
If it is canceled, another network will probably pick it up. It already has a loyal fanbase and all.
I do have to say fox is the network that canceled family guy. Then due to public demand brought it back. So it can't always be judged solely on views and more like what SPESSMEHREN said, a "loyal fanbase".
If they remotely cared about the fanbase then they would have brought back Firefly. They just care about the numbers.

I never watched it, I hear it was good. Though it probably had really bad numbers I assume.

Checking now.
[editline]2nd March 2011[/editline]
I couldn't find any statistics on views. Off to watch White Collar, another show I enjoy.
It had bad numbers because Fox was fucking stupid and aired all the episodes out of order.
did they continue the series already?
did they continue the series already?
I hope :|
Why was the chicken given cortexiphan?
[sp]So it could get to the other side[/sp]
I love this, the episode just started and Walter's getting stoned with the security guard talking about fucking Yoko Ono.
Great episode.
Didn't see the last bit at the end coming.
[sp]Holy crap, that's awesome! Olivia is William Bell.[/sp]
[sp]I doesn't make sense for Olivia's voice to change.[/sp]
Then again, this is Fringe. :v:

[sp]I don't know, while all of the physical parts are the same, how Bell's mind uses them is different. It makes sense for it to be a little lower and a little more slurred.[/sp]
Did anyone else think of fringe when they saw
?
That's actually the first thing that came into my mind.
Also this was a fucking great episode.
What a huge cliffhanger for the next episode. Can't wait to see what comes out of this!
Haha I loved this episode.
1. Walter is getting stoned with Hurley from Lost
2. Hurley is still fat.
3. "Everyone needs to poop, dear."
4. "William is it you?", "No, it's still Nina".
5. Looking at the door.
6. Bellivia "Hello Peter".
She does a great Nimoy! Even I can't pull that off after practising for 19 years.
Episode was great as always.
So any one know what the verdict of season four is? I mean I have strong hopes that it will be renewed, but if anyone has read anything recently would be nice if you could share it.
So far Kevin Reilly has stated they're happy with the ratings, but no one has said anything about a renewal or otherwise.

was 15 the last episode of season 3? just saw it, loved it
or 16, the gravity one
Sixteen was the latest episode in series 3 if that is what you meant. There are still six more episodes in series 3.
Episode tonight was fucking amazing.
[sp]God, that Leonard Nimoy accent that Anna Torv uses turns me on. :3:
It should also be damn interesting to see how the split personality thing turns out... I really can't think of any ways that Bell can be saved, except for maybe going into Walter's head?[/sp]
And next week's episode looks weird as hell.
[sp]Invaders from the other side doing things to Bolivia's baby![/sp]
wow sounds like the show got better when I stopped watching
I mean Hurley, c'mon.
Well, my optimism for this show was unfounded.

Ratings for last night were the season's lowest.
Cancellation is pretty much guaranteed.
Where the fuck are the viewers?
