Why is Fringe taking such as long break? I must say though, I really want Walternate to come back, an Anti-walter was the bad guy.
Man I can't believe I didn't know about this show till a month ago. Midway through season 3 at the moment. This is the best non-HBO show I've seen since BSG.
Hooray, got the first two seasons on DVD for Christmas with a Best Buy gift card and they finally arrived in the mail. I like the new cases that series on DVD seem to be using now, feels more like a book with pages of discs now. Hnnng, can't wait to marathon this bitch this weekend.
Been watching the DVDs and I must say, it's hard to get through the first season. I forgot how case of week it was. Also, IT RETURNS TOMORROW and it's supposed to be the episode that we should've got before it went on break.(aka real actual events and an actual cliff hanger)
Oh it returns tomorrow? This week couldn't get any better.
So excited for it to come back. Hopefully more than enough people tune into it. I think that if they didn't do the whole monster of the week episode and kept the show to 12-13 episodes a season, more people would watch it. A lot of people I know get put off by these sort of shows.
I like this show when it's about the overarching story, but the monster of the week episodes are damn boring.
I agree, I remember watching the first few episodes thinking this was all linked some how and that would be the story but then they kept coming, I like how now it seems to mainly focus on the story. I hate when they do a monster of the week then at the very end they have a glimmer of the main story. Like the first few episodes of this season, monster of the week and then at the end a little glimmer of Peter.
Wait. It's today? OH, FUCK.
This could've worked as the episode that airs right after Peter returns, god damn. Amazing stuff, the interaction between Walternate and Peter was worth the wait alone. Also, now we have a new dilemma [sp]Olivia apparently has to die, regardless of the what universe she's in.[/sp] Definitely going to want to find out more about that.
Thought it was pretty fucking clever how [sp]they brought back elements from the season one long-arc which lead to a dead end(besides the war) Now, we understand so much more about the Fringe's world, their interactions are going to be more interesting. If the bad guy was initially for fighting the war between the two sides, what are his goals now that the two sides operate in tandem?[/sp] Also,[sp] I really like Waternate's change in character, away from the crazy villain. Perhaps there will be more episodes with the two sides fighting together?[/sp] Lastly, [sp] what ever happened to the guy from Olivia's dream again? Back when the show had William Bell's ghost and it was kinda shitty?[/sp]
[sp]Maybe the observer catched the bullet for Olivia, which was his last resort to being able to save her.[/sp]
Show hit another series low with its ratings last night... http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/01/14/tv-ratings-friday-grimm-returns-to-lows-a-gifted-man-supernatural-nikita-csi-ny-fall-fringe-stays-low/116481/ Chances of a renewal are looking even slimmer.
I need to get back in this business, the last episode i watched was one of the last ones of second season or one of the first episodes of third season.
Can't believe CSI: NY beat Fringe.
What do you expect when they sporadically stop airing new episodes for several months, while it's already on a Friday night chopping block, while the ratings continue to slip./
Noooooooo Fringe stop losing ratings.

Bumping to remind everyone that a new ep comes on tonight at 9pm EST. edit: Fantastic episode, better than last week's. Definitely looking forward to seeing more Jones.
Definitely looking forward to seeing more Jones.
Fucking this. I like how towards the end of season one [sp]he looked like a comic book villain from all the radiation poisoning[/sp]
Can someone refresh my memory on Jones? All I can remember is that he was the one who "escaped" from prison (I've been watching since the series pilot... been so long since)
Finally an episode with lots of progression, how was the ratings on this one?
God I had missed Jones. He's just such a fantastic villain. So menacing. Great episode.
Loved the episode. Jones is my favorite villain. [sp]Now I am wondering what Nina is up to in the normal timeline...[/sp]

I hate hulu. I'm a week behind everyone because of it
YOU'RE TEARING ME APART NINA
I'm still waiting for William Bell to show up in one these universes.
There's an observer in every episode.
