There's an observer in every episode.
That was the first one I noticed in ages. I normally keep an eye out for them too.

Meh, tonight's ep wasn't a bad standalone but it didn't move the arc forward at all and that's immensely disappointing since they can't afford to keep doing this much longer.
I'm still waiting for William Bell to show up in one these universes.
I wouldn't count on it due to Leonard Nimoy retiring from acting.
I wouldn't count on it due to Leonard Nimoy retiring from acting.
He's retired three times now. [editline]28th January 2012[/editline] Next week's episode looks nice:
Excellent. In my opinion, fringe needs 3 things: More season 1 stuff (solving fringe mysteries n shit) More observers and less lincoln Alright, I can deal with lincoln, just give me more observer stuff.
it needs less season 1 stuff the monster of the week episodes are booring
I dunno, I like them, but only when they lead up to things. Sort of like in the second part of Season 1, where they all were about getting to Jones. The latest one, however doesn't seem to lead up to anything at all. also, what happened to those glimpses of the alternate universe that Olivia had in Season 1? shit like this: Who is "he" and what's with fire everywhere?
Also... That episode with Russian cosmonauts (that shadow being), I wonder if they will ever come back to that plot? Because fuck, that has a lot of potential.
Woo, an Astrid episode:
There's a lot of shit in this show that needs to be resolved in case it gets cancelled. Like the whole flashes of the future from season 1, that bald kid who lived in a whole and saw an observer at the end, like he was a future version of himself or something, the entire thing in the future at the end of S3. I hope they don't forget about that stuff. I'd actually like to know what causes all of these weird events too. Like why the pattern is occurring.

Like if Peter hadn't fixed everything using the machine.
The writers have said that they have an end planned if they get cancelled, I trust in them to do a good job even though I really don't see any kind of end in sight.
I think "he" is Peter, remember that time when he merged the universes and got a glimpse of his future self as a soldier?
I don't think this was a glimpse into the future though, as in that episode the alt-fringe division was solving the same case as our fringe division. There was also sign from the memorial of WTC, in the year of 2021.

I'm really excited for tomorrow's episode, seems like it's going to be really interesting.

Of course. Goes on break in March... I mean, it says that in the article.

This week's ep was yet another standalone but at least the story in it was pretty cool I felt. The presence of the alties seemed extremely pointless but it was nice to see the two Astrixes interact nonetheless. Next week's ep looks to also be standalone and rather Michael Bay-esque.
Fox Mulder at the airport, 1997: flashes his badge and gets a private escort to a different terminal. Metal detector goes off when he passes through it while carrying two pistols and talking on his cell phone? No problem, flashes his badge and the airport guy lets him take a peek at his X-ray. (The X-Files, Season 4, episode 18: Max) Olivia Dunham at the airport, 2012: Tries to stop bad guy, gets stopped by TSA. Flashes her badge, is a terrorist.

Ugh.. I fell so far behind on this show. I used to watch it crazy, I even have the first and second season on DVD.. 3rd and now they're on 4th i dunno what the fuck is happening
no wonder why the show is going under, with all them breaks people are forgetting about the show because it on for 1 week then off for 3 weeks.

I'm pretty sure the FBI has authority beyond airport security.
Well, that was a fairly confusing episode.
I liked it.
