The episode that took place when Walter kidnapped Walternate's son was fantastic for revealing the plot
also retro intro and text.
The Observer appears in EVERY episode, you just need to look for him like Waldo.
So, please, help me like this show.
I watch the first 5 episodes of season 1 and got bored, and here is the reason why:
The major flaw of this show, for me, can be summed up in thee words: Deus Ex Machina.
See, it seems that every episode (and I'm speaking of the first 5 I saw, so if it get's better/different, PLEASE TELL ME, as I want to know) followed the same structure:
1. There is a mystery that Olivia has to solve.
2. She tells Peter and Walter about it, they can't do much.
3. She runs around, doing police work and getting shot at for 35 minutes.
4. She can't solve it.
5. Walter: "Oh, wait, I just remembered that did a crazy experiment [insert crazy experiment here]. This will solve the mystery!"
6. Deus Ex Machina happens.
7. Mystery solved.
8. G-men go "hmmm, we gotta look out for Olivia and those pesky scientists."
9. The end.
The problem with this is that it pretty much renders the story the same everytime . . . Olivia isn't much use for anything, and we know that Walter will solve the problem with some "magic" science experiment.
Does it get any better? I really wanted to like the show . . . but it seemed like a poor-man's X-Files to me.
What exactly does Deus Ex Machina have to do with anything?
The problems don't suddenly become solved, it takes time for Walter and the gang to figure out a solution.
Wow, what an episode. Did not expect the sudden twist at all.

Made me think, what if it is the Walter in the alternate universe that is trying to bring Peter back :O
The black guy reminds me hard core of Louis from l4d. His looks, not his voice obviously.
So with the latest episode [sp]
I don't get it, so mister shapeshifter was just standing at the other side of the bridge and could just walk away after it? Couldn't they send some police there?[/sp]
Poor Walter. :saddowns:
This is not the type of show that can go on hiatus. I immediately forgot about it. Good show, but latest season has been pretty slow. I tried to pick back up on the Peter episode but it was boring as shit
Even though last night's episode was VERY weird, I liked it.
Last night's episode was a great change. :v:

It sure was interesting.
Trippy episode.
After forgetting to watch this after its hiatus, I have been watching the old episodes and I just finished watching White Tulip. That was the most amazing episode of Fringe that I have seen to date. I wonder if the next two episodes can top it.

Haha what was it I said, it is Walter-V2 :D
holy fucking huge twist on the last episode
last episode was great
Oh shit, tomorrow new episode. Can't wait.
The latest episode was fucking amazing. I mean holy shit, new intro was fucking awesome, All the characters, good god. This show, by JJ Abrams is what im going to be devoted to after lost ends. I mean holy shit this show is better then lost, now that lost went down the shitter and this came out of it.
Watching S1 now, seems good so far. Can see a lot of Lost influence in this show.
Well it is a unique storyline but it has its, wow factor and amazing stuff in it. Also it does get a hard to follow SOMETIMES, well for me anyway but it doesn't have questions go unsolved for seasons on end.
That was probably the best piece of television that I've seen all year.
They're in the alternate universe :byodood:
Leonard Nimoy FTW (Can't spell his last name at all)
Walternate's job really surprised me.
:page3:
Holy shit at what Peter actually has to be.

He has retired. Meaning he won't be coming back much more.
His last recording was like two weeks ago for Fringe.
Oh fuuuuck I need to watch this more what am I doing I keep forgetting.
That was pretty fucking great.
Although, I was hoping Peter would choose to stay in the alt world instead of going with our people.
Though, since Olivia professed her love for him that most certainly put a damper on that happening.
But, they had to keep the alties around somehow.
Totally saw it coming though, the second Olivia dyed her hair I knew they were going to pull a switcheroo.
It was still great though.
This show needs more viewers god damn it.
I can't believe the ending all together! Of course the next season, Peter will probably suspect its not the real Liv because I assume she will not demonstrate feelings for him.
As for the "extended scene" advertised, in case you have not gone to the fox website already, it really is just a ford motor company advert and is not that long, maybe not even worth your time.
Oh and guys by the way, if you want to ensure Fringe makes it to at least 2011, go to Fox's website and actually post comments to them @ http://futurefox.blogs.fox.com/
because otherwise when you don't speak up to the networks(see fox broadcasting's proposal about machinima @ http://futurefox.blogs.fox.com/2010/04/21/video-games-into-tv/#comments)they make up their minds what shows live or not by the advert money they earn or not earn during a show and more importantly, the stupid neilsen viewer ratings.
Amazing finale.
I'm afraid for this show's future.
It's probably not going to make it to a 4th season judging by how low the viewer count is.
