Ascot is the best. [sp]I was REALLY scared when she got shot in S4 =([/sp]
Yeah I freaked out about that, Astro is one of my favorite characters.
Are they going to have "the other side" in this series? I'd like to see what the observers did over there. The other question is, how are they making this paradox, if they're people from the future, how do they exist.
I highly doubt it. Theres just no real purpose to have the alternate universe is there?
That universe is still there, isn't it? It could have been invaded by Observers too, depending on how the portal was closed. Besides, Lincoln.
Yeah Lincoln can go fuck himself. Douche.
Are they going to have "the other side" in this series? I'd like to see what the observers did over there. If I'm not mistaken, the only time fringe has addressed time travel was with that one guy that modified his body to vibrate back in time, and that seems like a completely different technology than the observers use.

They can as shown in earlier episodes travel between universes, even time. All of this means they can go to every possible future and every possible past and manipulate them to their desire while never ceasing to exist.

Goddamn tonight's episode was intense. [sp]It seems that Peter's conscience was lost along with Etta and he just wants the Observers to burn. His desire for vengeance is almost the exact opposite of Olivia's state of mourning. Also that conversation between Walter and Olivia about the tape was beautiful.[/sp]
[sp]10 bucks says Peter will loose all his hair and will develop a sudden urge to wear a suit and fedora.[/sp]
[sp]You know when Walter is the one trying to talk Peter out of something, shit is about to go down When Astrid said to Olivia ' It is understandable if you are overwhelmed ' seemed a lot more like Faux-Astrid than our Astrid to me. Ending : Holy fucking shit on toast with cheese. [/sp]
[sp]10 bucks says Peter will loose all his hair and will develop a sudden urge to wear a suit and fedora.[/sp]
Like this? - http://i47.tinypic.com/30x94w7.png
[sp]That brain-magnetic needle-thing scene was really creepy. When he was talking to Olivia and said "I love you", it didn't sound like it had much emotion in it. He is turning for sure. So.... is September dead or what?
Do all observers dress like 1930's gangsters or is it their "21st century getup" so they can pretend to fit in?
[sp]Peter seems to have gained the strength of an Observer.[/sp]
I am too excited right now.
I wonder what would happened to the machine that was built for peter?
Holy shit, Peter just became 10000% cooler. It's a shame that this is the last season.
Peter Peter what are you doing holy shit peter dont do that
[sp]Peter is doing a Walter. He is going to go to unbelievable lengths to burn the Observers to the ground. He struck fear into that observer, and he noticed it. With the power of the observers, I just hope he doesn't.. You know.. Need to be put down.[/sp] Also, in Season 3, remember that episode where they were all cartoons, and Olivia was asked "Who was that man on the blimp" and she replied, "I think it was the man that kills me" Think they're going to play with that? [sp]Think it could be a future version of Peter?[/sp]
That was just a brilliant episode all around, maybe the best of the season so far. So god damned dark.
I wonder what happened to the stock pile of global dynamic's weapons that they were making to prepare for war, like those test tube babies? Also why did they need bells help, unless he's just a smart guy with tools, however they do have his hand?

[sp]I felt like there were quite a few presumptions and all-around logical fallacies in that episode. Like I mean okay, Walter I can say I'm okay with making some crazy assumption about scientific anomalies and having it be right because that does happen as a way of progressing an episode, but in this case it was just a bit over the top. Peter assumes Walter's plan is foolproof and HAD to work. Walter then assumes that it had to have set the Observers' plan back years. And I don't understand why they're so confused about THAT, because they are coming from the FUTURE. However long it would take them to recover, they could still send whatever they wanted back to the same time I'm assuming. Also Peter somehow figured out how to rebuild a mechanical cube from the future and for some reason knows that if he puts it together the wrong way it will blow him up or something. He ALSO knows that if he rips an electronic chip out of an observer's neck and cuts a hole in his own neck, that it will wriggle its way into his body like a bug. I was most concerned when that scene began because I thought Peter was about to attempt spinal surgery on himself, but nope! The damn thing did it for him. It was a good episode I just feel like maybe their writing is getting kind of sloppy? [/sp]
You mean Massive Dynamic
I used to do that all the time when watching Eureka. I would go to say something to my wife and say Massive Dynamic, instead of Global Dynamic, and vice versa.
Holy shit Peter. Just. Holy shit.
I wonder if the Observers are a result of the Massive Dynamic's carelessness in the future of some earlier time line. Though, they are clearly a result of man's carelessness. [sp]I foresee two possible outcomes. They do something to the giant pollution machine to kill the observers or they block them from going back to the in time somehow and send the other ones back resulting in both Peters never dying and never meeting Olivia. Just what I think, probably not what's going to happen. [/sp] What I really want to know is; have the observers taken over the other universe and will 'September' come back.
[sp]Peter assumes Walter's plan is foolproof and HAD to work. Walter then assumes that it had to have set the Observers' plan back years. However long it would take them to recover, they could still send whatever they wanted back to the same time I'm assuming. [/sp]
[sp]Walter is a genius, literally - he knows enough about how the space time continuum works to have crossed over 30 years ago and kidnap Peter, he knows even more now to make a highly educated guess (or more likely, he did the math) to know that a black hole would form on the other side - and it very well could have if Peter assembled the machine correctly. How it would set them back years is a very good question because the answers are carved in the paradox of time-travel. How could they teleport back in time if their universe was destroyed by a black hole? If they couldn't travel back because of the black hole, there would be no invasion in the first place, so there would be no reason to create the black hole. [/sp]
[sp] Also Peter somehow figured out how to rebuild a mechanical cube from the future and for some reason knows that if he puts it together the wrong way it will blow him up or something. The part with the observers chip - I seen that as the chip responding to him like the machine perhaps they're built from the same tech[/sp]
I wonder what happened to the female observers.
[sp] Peter just assumed that if he put it together wrong it would blow up, he does assemble it wrong but it doesn't explode, at the end he comes back to confront the Observer as to how he could of configured it wrong.[/sp]
[sp]The problem I have with that is; where did the boxes come from and why did that other observer attack Peter, wouldn't he be able to notice that it was assembled wrong?[/sp]
