[sp]Finally, a good resolution to get Olivia back!
Sucks for alt-Broyles though. I wonder what'll happen over at the other side for his family and Fringe division. [/sp]
[sp]Won't be surprised if Alitivia gets promoted to boss of the fringe division there.[/sp]
Great episode, so glad that they are[sp] back on track again. God damn alt-Broyles sacrificing himself, I thought he was really cool.[/sp]
New episode tonight, so don't for get to tune in.
That was a fucked up ep.
Also, fuck off Olivia don't be an unreasonable cunt now.
Was the role of the Observers ever explained? If I recall, an Observer is the whole reason Walter crossed over to save his son (the Observer prevented him from noticing that he had successfully developed a cure for his son).
the observers just observe special events
[sp]I suspect the observers are those "aliens" Walter was speaking of, you know, the ones that blocked off humanity's "superpowers" in the past?[/sp]
You know that dancing part was really fucked up. It was one of those rare moments when I really was thinking "What the fuck?!".
There's plenty of "What the fuck" moments in Fringe tbh.
[editline]11th December 2010[/editline]
most of them regarding Walter
I love Walter moments
On one of the first episodes "oh oh... I think I just got an erection"

"I simply need to urinate"
Grrr another month break....
I was laughing so hard when Walter started tasting the ashes
Oh, finally, an Observer. I havent seen one of them in a while.

Best moment with Walter.
Peter: Why are you putting LSD on those Caterpillars, wait I don't want to know.
"Hello Peter, this is your father, Walter Bishop".
"Yes, Walter, I know who you are".
Some Walter scenes are heartbreakingly sad though. I always feel bad for him when he can't renember something and he starts crying (most notably when he couldn't renember Peter's number in that chinatown episode).
When Walter is down he says:

I sure hope nobody forgot to watch this last night.
Excellent episode featuring the Observers.
And apparently the ratings for last night were higher than when it aired previously.

Wonderful news especially since it's on the Friday night death slot now.
Fucking cool episode. I loved the Half-Life reference.
Unforeseen consequences, hehe.
I laughed so hard this episode:

So the prop team got lazy and searched some open source code on the internet and printed it out and added some ***FAILURE*** and a picture.

Awesome episode last night.
Best yet.
This thread needs more activity, damn it.
Tonight's episode was also fantastic and made me quite glad that I didn't give up on the show.
Touched on the Cortexiphan storyline a bit, cool since I thought they had all but forgotten about it.

I thought it was pretty decent as well. The only thing I didn't really like was [sp] the part where which Olivia Peter chooses will determine the fate of the universe...It just seems kind of let down to me, having this mysterious machine left by an ancient race, and it is his love life that determines what it will do..[/sp]
Well, technically... [sp]It's the chemicals produced by his emotions that will determine the fate of the universes.[/sp]

[sp]Actually I thought the guy said something about him vibrating at w/e frequency the machine needed to operate, and based on his choice it would change his vibrations or something. In either case I think it is a rather shabby turn for the whole ancient machine plot.[/sp]
Well, yeah [sp]the vibrations are caused by the chemicals and such, I think it's a decent turn of events as Peter and the machine are quite obviously connected at an emotional level so it's only logical that his emotions affect the machine in some way.[/sp]
[sp]Yeah, it probably was the only direction they could go really. Still just the idea that some previous civilization left something like that behind fascinates me, and i was just a little disappointed, that's all.[/sp]
Well, fair enough.
I just wouldn't want something like that to tarnish the mystery behind it all for you.
