This question has to be asked? It's one of the greatest films i've ever seen. The soundtrack is amazing and unmatched as well, I have a copy on CD and it's great for roadtrips.
It does have a great soundtrack. When I got home from school the day I heard the Soggy Bottom Boys sing, I went through youtube to find the song they sang in the movie :v:
he hated "Donnie Darko" and "Pulp Fiction".
why would you listen to a single word he says
Great movie. Your film teacher has shitty taste.
I liked it. I thought it was hilarious, especially John Goodman and George Clooney.
I liked it. I thought it was hilarious, especially John Goodman and George Clooney.
My film teacher praises John Goodman and Jeff Bridges in The Big Lebowski. Says that the movie is in his top ten.
Well I watched it once and 2 days later I bought it
Who the fuck thinks it's the worst coen movie? Seriously? It's a great fucking movie. Least dark too (well, tied with True grit which is much darker in tone but not in outcome).

It was a great movie, you should watch it
You HAVE to watch it. It's a great film that'll cheer you up. The soundtrack's great too.

My school doesn't mind showing it so you know it must be good stuff. I loved it though, nobody slept while watching it.
The least dark so far is The Big Lebowski.
The Hudsucker Proxy?
The Hudsucker Proxy?
Not familiar with that one. (User was permabanned for this post ("Spamming on an alt" - Rusty100))
oh god yes.
Your film teacher should be fired. because we watch Pulp Fiction as a family over where I am.
I was forced to watch it in my English class and ended up enjoying it to a certain extent. It's notable to say that it takes a lot for me to like a movie though, so as most of the other replies have said you should probably check it out.
ignore film teachers. they're just about all biased, really, but that's just a really dumb fucking opinion regardless, it's generally, genuinely, entirely a great film. it's a great film, the only manly musical comedy (i think? been a long time) next to Walk Hard
The only thing I hate more than cops, are cows!
The Hudsucker Proxy?
That's way darker.
It is? I thought it was supposed to be some happy film. (I haven't seen it, I just saw a poster and rating).
Your film teacher disliked Pulp Fiction and O Brother, Where Art Thou?... Damn your film teacher is worthless.
Barton Fink is the worst Coen Brothers film in my opinion, O Brother is up close to one of my favorites
Good movie.
The least dark so far is The Big Lebowski.
Weirdo cuts off a chick's toe and pisses on The Dude's carpet. That's not dark?
By no means a brilliant film, but it's certainly entertaining and glad i bought the dvd many moons ago. Do love the soundtrack though.
It's a good movie, but not as good as some of the Coen Brothers other movies.
yeah. It's one of the Coen Brothers' weaker movies, but it's still really good.
